please could someone tell me where i find the wood needed for the broken bridge in chapter 1(shaege something)

After you destroy the left-most dam support, the person who toiched the support will have some wood in his/her inventory. This is a little confusing, because you don't get any message that it happened.

Yep - and you don´t have to *use* it. Just go over to the broken bridge and click on it - the wood will be placed and you can leave.

thank you everyone for the help provided

i am tried to destroy the first support but the charactor i used did not get any wood to repair the bridge so where Am i meant to get the plank wood from

Since you're at the fortress, you probably don't need this info ;)

But, just to round things off, it's the LEFT-most support at the back in the north.

IF YOU CANT FIND IT , JUST GO ROUND THE MAP KILLING ALL THE MAD CATS etc. HAVE YOU TRIED WALKING ON THE SOLID ICE BY THE BRIDGE YET?

Altogether, there are three supports for the dam, and you get the most experience if you destroy all three. The first is right where you come into the map. The other two are at the back. You can only go one way here, so just keep going until you reach the back end where the ramp is. The second support is there, but too high up to reach with melee weapons. Missiles can do the job.

To the left of the ramp, at the far left end, is the third support. You only have to touch it with the cursor for it to be destroyed. Then you can return to the broken bridge and make your way across.

Just go straight for the bridge in the east and kill every thing right away, don't fall for the woman's talk as she's only trying to stall you to give the ogres more time to destroy the bridge. So cut of the conversation with her or use a high wisdom character to notice her offer is to good to be true for more xp and kill those ogres.

Don't attack the archers, as they just run off into more enimies. You should be able to get rid of the melee enimies or run past them as said in the previous post to get to the bridge fast enough.
