Has it ever happened to anybody that when you turn undead with a high enough level cleric that all the undead in the area just die without any damage done to them but you still get full experience.

Yup, it happens quite a bit with my single-classed cleric. It's one of the main reasons I take a cleric along instead of an extra druid.

i have a low level cleric and when i turn undead about 30% of the time i can control them

Good cleric destroy undead
Evil Clerics control them instead |

well, there's more than one way, but, essentually, you live your life such that only your desires are of any value to you. You allow pride to take-over your way of thinking. From arrogance come jealousy, then hatred. You learn to despise those over whom you have an advantage while focusing solely on undoing those who have the upper hand over you. You love only yourself, but in so doing, lose the essence of love. In time, you become a perpetually hungry, restless person at odds with the universe. Of course, you wind-up declaring war upon your god, and live a life of petty (or worse) acts, until at last you feel the unshaken icy hold of death fix upon your soul. Not even then do you consider the relevance of your life and decisions vis-a-vis reality. - Twilight p.s. Alternatively, you either create a cleric with evil alignment, or else use the dalekeeper editor to alter one that you already have. |
My cleric is 15th level and when i walked up to Kresselack he just exploded has that ever happend to anyone else.

You turned Kresselack? I've never tried that. I know it is not possible to kill him with weapons or magic, though. Once you have fulfilled his quest, I suppose there is no point in keeping him around....

How much xp was Kresselack worth?
|
He was pretty good experience but i sat there for like 10 minutes before he actually died. I think he was 8,000 but im not sure.

You cannot defeat Larrel, no matter what tactics you use. Only editing the game allows you to beat Larrel.

i have 10th level paladin,but turn dead doesnt work.i click it,but nothing happens.what must i do?

any of you play regulat d&d? a good cleric turns undead by directing positive energy toward the target. the cleric needs to succeed at a turning check, depending on his success he can turn up to twice his hit dice (levels) in undead, if he succeeds well enough, undead that are half his level are destroyed.
now evil clerics, they can direct negative energy. this negative energy can be used to make undead stop in there tracks in awe of your power, and those that are half your hit dice (still levels) can be comanded by him |
Yeah but what about a neutral person turning undead?
|
I have some problems with turning undead. Well, only really one problem...when you're turning undead, you can't do anything else, which means that you're defenceless if they get close to you. Now, if they're close to you before you try to turn them, they'll be hitting you, and you can't stop to defend yourself unless you *know* that turning isn't working. If it's not working, you don't know that it is't until after they hit you, and if you don't have much HP left, that could be it, and since it's usually my cleric who turns undead, if he dies I can't raise him...
Am I right or am I missing something? Is there a way to know in time if turning isn't working? |
Hullo!
Usually, if your cleric hasn't turned the baddies by the time they're on him/her, then you'll have to wait for the next combat turn. Its up to you whether you have your cleric fight or not when that happens. I try to keep the cleric back when I have him/her turning. Its a shame that the most effective weapons for skeletal undead are so weak. Finn |
How do you know what level an undead creature is to see if you're twice it's level???
