starting the game I decided to have Sarevok in my group since he is my brother... The only little problem is that I am chaotic GOOD and he is chaotic EVIL!!!
I just now finished chapter 8 ***spoiler***(I am entering the monastery)*** and till now he didn't complain too much and I hope he'll never leave the party.
WILL HE???

Dundee Slaytern 09-08-2003 04:18 AM

Bernardo 09-08-2003 04:22 AM

Well speaking more about our ol' friendly Sarevok might reveal spoilers for you. I say just try it, and you'll find out what happens!!

In the Shadows-of-Amn part of BG2, party members can leave the party if:
a) They are very dissatisfied with the party's Reputation, or
b) They come into violent personality conflicts with 1 or more other party members.

In the Throne-of-Bhaal part of BG2, however, neither of these situations will happen. I believe that even a Lawful Good character (such as Keldorn) won't abandon you even if your Reputation sinks all the way down to 1. He'll complain quite a bit, but he won't leave.

In BOTH parts of BG2, certain characters may leave the party due to specific scripted plot events.

Keldorn won't leave even with an extremely low rep AFAIK. I'm 95% sure that NPC's won't ever leave your group in ToB no matter what your rep is.

You'd probably be able to summon them back in the Pocket Plane

Imagine Aerie getting sick of your whining.

"Aside from ToB" can NPCs actually be redeemed like the PC if you know what I mean?
