You need to be more specific. Can you actually start the game? If so, when does it crash?
You need the patches Morgeruat talked about anyway, so you might as well just download them at once. Links can be found in the FAQ in the SoA-board. ;)

I have installed ToB patch 26498 and ToB FixPack 112. I normaly start game. And then just crash, everytime in different moment. XP said it is because of device driver but dont know which. But all my games have same problem. I have latest graphic drivers and all updates for my hardware. I dont know what to do?

Vedran 08-02-2003 10:45 AM

Ako ti sve igre padaju, onda stvar nije do Baldura, nego do kompa.

darac 08-02-2003 11:51 AM

samo mi se igre ruše. osim star treck elite force ll. imam najnovije drivere

Eh... not that it bugs me much and all, but it would be polite to at least translate what you are saying, Vedran( and you too, darac). ;)

Conversing in your native tongue via PM is fine and dandy, but it is not very nice to do so in a public forum where English is supposed to be the language medium.

Gangrell 08-04-2003 03:27 PM

Don't worry it happens to me too, mine crashes every 30-40 minutes because I have it running on Xp. Doesn't bother me much though, all you have to do is press quick-save real quick before it crashes, quit, then load it back up.

Xen 08-04-2003 03:49 PM

I will try to translate:

Vedran->If all of your games fail to work, that it`s not Baldur`s fault but the computer`s.Try do download drivers for graphic card, motherboard(and everything else)

If it doesn`t work, but the comp on fix and let them do the dirty work.

darac->Only my games are failing. Even Star Trek:Elite Force II. I have the latest drivers.

darac 08-06-2003 03:06 PM

Just the games crash. But ST elite force 2 not. Why?

Xen 08-06-2003 03:09 PM

So all other games crash except ST:Elite Force II?

Xen: except

Dundee, I've seen many people converse in other-than-english languages (mostly at general discussion), and never did a moderator object. I apologize, but doesn't it sound pointless to talk to a compatriot in a foreign language?

I shall repeat: have those games worked correctly before, or this is a new computer?

Xen 08-08-2003 04:27 PM

Oops my bad Vedran.

No need to apologise, Vedran, I was not scolding you. As I understand it, it is preferred, but not written as law or rule that everybody converse in English in public. Imagine the chaos if everybody started speaking in their own native tongue, hence why some forum networks have multiple forums each dedicated to a certain language.

It is more of a courtesy issue really, then a following the rules issue.

When I first started PC Gaming I had the same problem, It is most likely caused by lack of memory. I would suggest upgrading to 320mb of ram, killed my problem in its tracks.
