Hi everyone..I have a serious problem. Placed the last tear and kill Irenicus for the second time then some movies etc and me and my party jumped to ToB..
I won the first fight with larissa(?? maybe wrong name sorry) and ı went to pocket plane.had a conversation with Solar and when she leaves Sarevok appear


Here is the problem..He says something like..Hello I've been waiting for you and you have to answer with two dialog options normally but in my game they dont show up. So ı couldnt give my piece of soul to him to go on the game..What must i do guys it will drive me mad soon...

I would have thought the patch would have fixed that, I'd say just keep trying it over and over again? That's the best I can come up with, sry

That's no bug or anything. You can chose to give him a piece of your soul (you will suffer no lose), or if Imoen is in your group, she will offer to give part of her soul IIRC. You can chose to not take him or not. If you're evil, he's a great addition as a fighter for your party. If he's good, don't bother taking him. You can give him a piece of your soul and then leave him in the pocket plane if you want, just in case you wanna come back for him later. This is what I did.

when Sarevok starts to talk there must be dialog options for me to choose and
answer him..but when he speaks there is NO dialog options to answer..so when i cant answer him i cant give him part of my soul and i cant continue the game
it is the problem..what can i do?...

Ack. I had a problem similar to yours (screwed up DIALOG.TLK file), but I happened to run into the problem MUCH later in the game--just before the very last battle, meaning that my entire trip through ToB had to be scrapped. Comparatively, you're lucky: You can go back to your Final-Save in SoA and not have lost much. (Although, for what it's worth, that dialogue bug was in the only game I played with Ascension installed. Could Ascension be causing it? It's certainly a possibility.)

As far as fixing the problem goes, I don't see a problem with your install order.....you might have to reinstall the whole damn thing, or contact BioWare and see what they say. They might feel inclined to brush you off because you have MODs installed, but press them on the fact that the Sarevok conversation is a 100% BioWare part of the game, and they should help you.

i think i will reinstall the game and mods but not ascension because i think problems started just after i install it..thanx guys.

Reinstall Ascension too. I think it would be wise to do so.

um, what does ascension do to the game????????

It can make a few of the bosses in ToB tougher (optionally), and it adds a whole lot of roleplaying elements to the end of the game.

Ensure that you are using the WeiDU version of Ascension if you plan to reinstall in that order.

if u dont install ascension then your saves will screw up

I'm having the exact same problem as Envy.

I tried reimporting the Final Save but that didn't fix the problem.

Since I don't have Ascension installed, that pretty much rules that out.

Has anyone figured anything else out?

I am NOT happy right now. VERY ticked off actually :mad: Ready to toss the whole game away.

Well... the usual queries, what was the order in which you installed your patch, fixpack and mod(s)?

The correct installation order is as follows,

1) SoA
2) ToB
3) ToB Official Patch
4) Original Baldurdash Fixpack( NOT THE WeiDU VERSION)
5) WeiDU Mod(s)

Ok guys problem is solved
i copy the saved games and reinstall the game and patches and modes just like
Dundee's order and Bingo..it worked..

I think when i installed the mods for the first time i have made a mistake in order because i first installed SoA then SoA official patch and then SoA baldurdash fixpack and later mods but not ascension (For ToB require) then i started to play and two weeks later i bought ToB so i installed it then patch then baldurdash [img]smile.gif[/img] and mods including ascension.So i think they all mixed up and cause this problem..whatever i can now play without a problem and thats the point i guess.
