well i can´t remember the last one..i have the best weapon in the game(Runehammer+5,Gram OF THe Sword Of..,The Answerer+4,Ravager+4) and im am high level too.

Anyway The Thoughest Enemies In ToB are: Draconis,Demogorgon and Melissan.
i have killed Abazigal in 5 minutes...

Assuming you can beat round one, save and cast wish with a high WIS, and choose the option to regain all spells (you might have to reload a couple times).

TO beat round one, you wont have much luck with magic, but buffed up tanks shoudnt have to much trouble against Amelyssans summons. Bone Golems and Shadow Slayers. Amelyssan herself is quite tough. Shell use stoneskins and various magical protections, so be prepared to beat them down or use breach etc.

Oh, and Ziroc just posted a thread about swearing. You should probably tone it down. And post more party details and levels as well.

I have researched the final battle quite a bit, and i feel sorry for anyone who has a PC mage in this battle. The only spells that actually do damage to Melissan are Prismatic Spray, Energy Blades, and Black Blade of Disaster. But I wouldnt try walking up to her with a mage that probably has what 70 hp? So stick with Prismatic Spray and Energy Blades. If you're wondering why some of your missle weapons arent hurting her thats because she is immune to almost all of them. Only projectiles of +3(or more) can hit her. That also includes the Firetooth, & Tansheron's Bow. The Gesen Bow does NOT hit her. So just scrap your arrows of piercing, biting, acid, etc. they will do nothing to her. Make sure you mage has plenty of knock down spells, and a couple of those big 9th level spells like Comet and Dragon's Breath. No these won't hit her either but they can get her minions out of the way, might want to save these spells for the battle on the last platform on the East(thats the 3rd battle.) For optimim damage on missle weapons, use that +5 sling, shooting +4 bullets, and use the Firetooth shooting +3 bolts. GOOD LUCK!

Thanks guys...i finally did it......yesterday i fought almost 3 hours constantly...i died abot 1 hundred times but i did it and i am happy...i have ended Baldur`s Gate Saga(My Opinion is That This IS The Best Game Ever)now i will play Neverwinter Nights..but i have noticed that i cannot import my Character in Nwn...is there anyway i can do this...thanks for evrethying guys really...

I think they tried to implement that,.. but didnt eventually, because the lvls of the imported characters would be too high .. not sure though, so there's still hope ;)

Exporting to NWN was abandoned because your char would be stripped of all spells, items and XP, leaving her with just a name. Not much of a exporting, don't you agree?

i just don't get it.

my party
me - paladin imported from BG1 and thus with mostly 19's as stats
and mazzy, minsc, sarevok, aerie and imoen.

could beat allmost anything in the game easily. they are all equipped with strength-increasing equipment (except imoen), my paladin has the holy avenger +6, mazzy and sarevok wield greatswords +5, minsc the killy +5 axe and another +5 weapon, aerie crom faer and imoen the staff of the archmagi(keeps her safe and makes her a great scout) and the electric bow (forgot the name).
they kill everything with ease. (well, except maybe a dragon).
make that GREAT ease. demogorgon? hah! piece of cake!.

Non-Ascension.

When you say she can;t be hurt by spells, does that mean she has really high magic resistance or what? oh yeah i'm on Chap 9 and haven't met Draconis yet, did i miss him somewhere(like in the sewers of Saradush perhaps?) oh yeah this is one big arse spoiler i have just read, but firstly i already knew and secondly it was pretty obvius she was a Bhaalspawn anyway.

Sythe make sure Edwin has plenty of the knockdown spells memorized. Especially Breach which you will have to use right off, and dont forget the wharding whip, ruby ray of reversal, and especially spellstrike.

can i just say the hardest part about the final battle is the last energy pool you have to destroy...the one with the succubus, fallen solar, and 2 marill.

it's so frustrating when half your characters get dire charmed so easily and yet they save vs your domination/charm attempts to get them back

Paul drink potions of invulnerability.

Whoever wields the Staff of Magi will have no problems with Charm spells. Chaotic Commands renders the recipent immuned to Charm attacks as well. Then there are the Potions of Clarity. Helms of Charm Protection. Lilarcor. The Psionic Blade. The list goes on and on.
