just a couple of questions for any of the experts out there that may know the anwers to these questions.
1.if your evil can u recruit bohdi instead of balthazar?
2.exact dialogs for sarevoks align change.
3.if imoen is in the party she becomes the slayer at mellisans will and turns on you thus destroying her forever.Is it possible in any way to save her to see her ending?(as ascention changes them somewhat)
4.did anyone else find this battle incredibly hard?

1. I don't think she joins your party, but you can ally with her and control her like a summoned creature, but you need to have an unpopular or despised reputation and be evil or she won't trust you

2. To change Sarevoks alignment was the same procedure with and without ascension

3. Not sure about this one, since my first time through I didn't have her in my party, but she turned up and fought against me, but if you leave her alone for several rounds, she will become neutral and you can talk to her and she told me that the battle was way above her and she left, but if she was in your party to being with, I'm guessing she re-joins the group at this point

4. Yes I found it extremely tough. I think it takes the p*ss a bit having to take on all five bhaal spawns as well as Melisan! Especially since I was trying to solo. I couldn't even do it on novice for the first few attempts.

OK bohdi did join...only with some serious convincing and a really bad rep.Cant decide who is better tho.
Im also wondering when sarevok betrays u....(i didnt make him swear a geas) if he has taken the oath to not betray u but is still evil what happens.Im so sick of trying to change his alignment...if im any nicer to him its gonna make me sick.

Gonna answer a few of my own questions here.........
Bohdi is better in my op as she has a devastating 5 level drain abitity....the problem is though you have to be evil and have a rep of 9 or less.......
If sarevok aint changed his alignment hell turn on you after you defeat the final batch of demons......a easy way to stop this is to use the helm of reversed alignment just b4 mellisan and the 5 appear.
Wow this battle is hard.
I wonder if dundee has played ascention?

I've done the end battle 3 times, but Imoen never changed in a slayer...how did you get that so far?

Are u sure u have downloaded and installed ascention?

I think he did, but to be sure you'd better ask him. He might even have done it solo-ing. ;)

On my way there, with a solo Archer.

I am currently juggling BG1+TotSW, IWD+HoW and SoA+ToB; with more emphasise on the first two, since I have completed SoA+ToB several times already.

Robin Clym is currently in Chapter 5, the Underdark on Insane Difficulty.

From what I have read so far, Ascension should be a blast. ;)

To be honest though i cant possibly see you beating the final battle in tob..........its just too hard in my op....
ive set traps ive dragons breathed them ....(the five that is)
Theyre just 2 tuff!
Sarevok pulled out a couple of deathbringer assaults too........they nearly all have 200 hp +.
This final battle makes a mockery of the rest of the game as it is way above the difficulty of any other battle by far.
Please let me know how you go dundee.

ive got ANOTHER challenge for yah dundee...........thats if youre a challenge person..........
try the soluafein romance mod........it includes some very good upgrades on the twisted rune / slave lord compound.......theres a new enemy who wants the celestial fury............maybe im going soft but wow its hard........some sort of kensai / mage who 5 planetars got slaughtered by( core rules) not to mention the rest of the party
quite likely tougher than melissan.

heh sola mod is seriously fun

my insane dif solo char just met up with the kensai/mage, took me 2 tries, and the second fight basicly killed all of the pramanade (this guy would just blast merchents and peasents as he walked by em chasing me lol)

its a great fight, the guy would regularly hit me for 70 damage a hit and he attacks lightning fast

great fight really, and the katana he drops sure would have helped your paladin solo deal with his tob dragon prob (draconis anyway) that he had heh

after you fight him let us know how you did dundee, im gonna start posting (in character, been awhile since i did any roleplaying) my barbies adventures in tob since he'll get there today finally, and basicly im having dundee-popularity-envy heh.

Final sola challenges, tob improved patches, and the ascention final battle await!

good luck.........i reckon ull need it.......
i have a hell of a time killing the five with a full powerhouse party......
anyone who can solo this should be making the games not playing them
