Damn it. I just wanted to download it but lot's of sign up bullshit all the time and the webpage is slow as hell. Aren't there another way to get the Ascension?

Nope, you just have to pay for faster downloads where they make a server available just for you. The regular service where you share a serve with x-hundred others is a)free and b)the fastest an average dial-up connection can handle anyway.

What's this BS about going through Fileplanet to download? :D You only need to do that if you don't want to wait for your download (which they only do to make you sign up). Just get your download happening and make yourself a cup of coffee. It'll happen soon enough. ;)

What is the "Ascension" is it an expansion?

Would love to do that Menmoch. But, being a modem user, I pay for every minute being online. Can't realy wait 80 minutes just to start the download.

OK, fair enough - I use ADSL and so I pay a fixed rate. 80mins is pretty rich, and I assume the download would take a while as well?

I know that some people waited 23 hours for The Darkest Day unofficial mod download. :eek:
