The idea of adding Sarevok is almost overpowering (maybe he's trying to influence me...lol), but I hate the idea of dropping Minsc for him. Is it worth it? I don't want any spoilers, but just wondering what others think.

Also, are there any NPC specific missions in ToB? In SoA, I added almost every NPC to my party long enough to finish their specific mission, but always reverted back to my "chosen" party, which is my main character, a monk, Minsc, Jaheira, Imoen, and my own cleric and mage (adding playing multi-player mode).

The only character I wouldn't mind losing is Jaheira, but I want to finish the romance with her first. I activated it late in SoA using CLUACONSOLE, and have heard romances pick up where they left off.

Well, diss Imoen.
He is the best NPC ever, but Minsc is not far behind.

My only problem with lossing Imoen is she's my only thief http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/frown.gif My monk can detect traps with the best of them, but can't disarm them or pick locks.

Sarevok is definitely worth it. He's the best fighter in the game and he has some very cool dialogue. Drop Minsc and pick him up.

I'd get rid of the cleric and grab Sarevok, but than again I'm just one of those people who don't find clerics very useful. Jaheira's got better summoning spells anyway and can handle any healing and raising (of the dead).

i found Jahera useful only in 3 things

1) lvl 10 spell in summoning
2) ressurection
3) distractor

and thats it... once she cast that lvl 10 spell of summoning then i just let her go to the back and just heal those people who need it, ressurect people who died.. and be a great distractor in case i have to reform my group. she is only a supporter for me

Get Jan as a thief instead of Imoen, and drop the homemade Cleric or Jaheira, Jaheira is good for combat since she can wield scimitars and spears, of which there a many which are enchanted, and has a large number of summoning spells, especially the elemental summoning Quest Spells, they are powerful.
No NPC specific missions in ToB, none that I have found anyway, also, what is the command for activating a romance with the CLUAConsole?

I dropped Minsc for sarevok and I think it was worth it

I suggest having them both, because Sarevok is THE best NPC tank and Minsc is the second best, also, Minsc has LOTS of entertaining dialogue, Sarevok also has a few good ones, and you need more than one tank, and even if you don't actually NEED more than one, it's damn useful.

i dropped viconia for him. after that my party was:

1.Me(bard)
2.sarevok
3.minsc
4.jaheira
5.imoen
6.edwin

it rocked!

Well hehe!(Not so humble a laugh) I did beat that guy so many times as a fighter, pure from BG1, so his ears are still red.. Hehe!
But well, I thought his remarks was a bit cool, but I do like Minsc and since my character has shown himself to be the best fighter in the game.. I don´t need him. You missing a good fighter?? He might be worth it though! Hehe Sorry, talking to Dragons make you talk like this hehe!..

Sarevok's Deathbringer Assault can deal 140+ damage with a good weapon without making a critical, do you know any OTHER warriors that can do that?

Yes but it's random when he gets that effect - it seems to do less against undead and demonds (only 10 points each time to the Chromatic Demon)

I'm at Chap 6 of SoA, busy finishing up all the quests before going on to deal with Bodhi for the last time. I just finished the Planar Sphere, Umar Hills (including offing the Shadow Dragon) and Kangaxx. My current party

Kensai (level 19)
Minsc (level 17)
Keldorn (level 17)
Jaheira (level 13/14)
Aerie (level 14/14)
Imoen (level 7/14)

Once I begin ToB I intend to drop Minsc for Sarevok simply because Sarevok's stats are way better than Minsc's, and Minsc is the most expendable of the lot.

Well I know that my character with a good batardsword and a good shortsword dish out greatmany attacks all the time. And I did beat the guy twice !hhehe..

Sharadash (my current fighter) 2. Sarevok 0 hehehe!

But well, he has one good point though. When he dies, he gets to be in the sequals all the time. When I die, it´s game over. Not fair, why can´t your character be raised or something.. Sure the Bhaal power and all. But all thoose others including the exploding fella and Sarevok... Eh? Typical Anomen cheesy style. Too bad friends, but I´m a noble kinght and wont use my treasured staff of resurection on him. It was he who bought it!! Haven't you ever noticed that Sarevok turned to dust after you killed him in BG1, maybe you do too and that's why you can't be raised? (Ignoring the fact that Imoen should be unraisable too.)

Sarevok gets a cool ending (one of the best)
