I'm stuck in the Saradush sewers. Can find stairs up into town, but cannot get outside the castle walls. I have already killed Gromnir and the Merchant Kiser.

Any help would be appreciated.

I am not there yet, but if nobody else answers, I will get the cheat book out tonight when I arrive home and tell you.

You've killed Gromnir? Did Melissan talk to you? If so, take a look at your special abilities bar for your pocket plane ability (lets you warp in & out)

OK then, if you've talked to Melissan after killing Gromnir and want to get out of Saradush, hit the pocket plane icon (it'll bring your whole party to the plane). Then when you go to leave, it'll give you some options of where to go.

your mission now is to go to the marching mountains , (i think so coz i am stuck there now) u have to to search for something.

if you want to get out, all you have to do is go to the planar pocket. when you try to leave again, itll either tell you some choices, or youll just escape to the road leading to the temple area.

Ok... sorry to have to bring this thread up again but it does save me from opening a new one and having everyone tell me to search through the old threads(which i have allready done). Anyway i am experiancing the same problem as iced_earth except MELISSAN HASNT EVEN TALKED TO ME!!! I have been through Saradush a hundread times and more, i have even tried traveling back and forth through my poket plain but she still hasnt shown herself. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Are you sure you killed everybody?

A person had a similiar problem which was solved when he found one of Gromnir's men hiding downstairs after fleeing the battlescene.

I am fairly sure, but ill have another look. If by chance there werent, is there any other was to get around this?

Anywayz, I'll have a look at some patch-sites, see if it's a bug.
A few suggestion allready:
-Indeed go back, maybe even cast a true sight or two .. make sure you didnt maze anyone, if so kill them when they return. Imprisoning people counts as killing them, but maybe free 'em and kill'em anywayz, just to be sure.

-Maybe you were invisible at the time ? Sometimes this screws up dialogues, since they wont show up if they cant see you.

CURSES!!! I have searched the city far and wide and i am now absolutely sure that not one of mine enemys has escaped my wrath!!!
... er... what i mean to say is that i cant find and escaped enemys and that i am not going to have to re-start ToB just because that evil sedistic ***** Melissan wants to make me suffer by going around in circles. Or it could be a glitch but thats just not as beliveble as the game wanting to make me suffer...

Well, i do think there's another possibilty,
Using CLUAConsole, ( ingame bugfix-program) .. you could probably make the right melissan appear and perhaps trigger the events.
Or trigger the event without summoning melissan, people allready use CLUAConsole to speed up romances and such, by altering the parameters.

I am no expert in these things though, you might wanna open a new topic about it ... ( although this is a ToB question, you could make it a CLUAConsole question, and post it in the SoA-forum ... that forum is visited by more people, you'll get your answer a lot faster that way :D )

I have just given up. Im starting it again from my final save in SoA. My BG2 is unbelivebly buggy and has screwed up at least 20 times today; forcing me to restart my computer every time. It has more bugs then a school tuckshop... i need sleap...

My game's been crashing all day too, getting pretty annoyed now ...
heheh, im rushing through the game, saving after every action, usually i can play for about 2 minutes before the game crashes .. what a life :D
