My character, Cheato the Cheater, just cut through Spellhold like a Vorpal Blade through helium. And now it's time to proceed to the scenic Shark People Town. I got the horn (and killed everyone on the island) and went to show it to Saemon. Saemon transports me to the back of the Vulgar Monkey and has his little chat with the Pirate Lord. And then nothing happens. And there's nothing to kill on the whole island.

Is this a known bug? How do I fix it?

And yes, I am patched.

have you killed desharik, got the horn, and then spoken to saemon.
if you have and nothing happens, its a problem with the disk/game.
my game never lets me go with saemon, so i've just taken the portal instead.
I assume this isn't a bug just a problem with my Disk/PC?

Deshakir, Deshakir... I'm getting confused of all the people I've killed. But I have the horn, yes, and when I give it to Saemon he transports me to the wrong place and a pirate leader refuses to spawn.

After you give him the horn, you are supposed to get a cut scene where you are on the ship and Desharik shows up. I know you said you're patched, but if you have ToB installed, make sure you have both the ToB Official Patch and the ToB fixpack.

No cutscenes for me. I go to the Vulgar Monkey, where he is waiting, and give him the horn. But he just moves me to another part of the Monkey. Then there is a cutscene like the one with the pirate leader, but without any pirates. And then he refuses to speak to me.

I have both.

Must be your character's name. Being the honest man he is, Saemon hates cheaters :D .

Are you using any mods?

It's been a while since I played the game, but I seem to remember actually having to travel to the ships before getting the cut scene. Try going down to the docks and wandering around the ships - maybe the pirates will spawn there.

Nope. Doesn't work. I also tried spawning Saemon to the docks but he inexplicably disappeared. What's the CLUA code for summoning the pirate lord? I might try him.

I think I know exactly what the problem is.

Usually, following the story, you talk to Saemon in spellhold. He teleports you out, and says he'll meet you at the Vulger Monkey. Then you talk to him, he reveals his plot to steal a ship, and you go from there.

From what I can tell, you got the horn before Saemon even told you to get it. Which is highly illogical, but eh, his name's cheater, isn't it?

So try dropping the horn before you tlak to him. He reveals his plan, then you go down to the docks with the horn. Talk to him again, and badda bing, badda bom, you've got yourself a stolen ship.

And an angry pirate lord. But you're the son/daughter of Bhaal, right?

No, I stole the horn after he told me to. Is he supposed to be in the docks when I give it to him? Because that would explain a lot of things.
Anyway, I gave up and used the portal.

Quite a simple solution. No cloak of Mirroring for you, my cheater! :D

With 500+ hp I don't need it anyway. :D

I had the problem once of Saemon not appearing in the Docks (not sure if he teleported back to the vulgar monkey, don't remember if I checked it).
