And exp all depends on what level you are at. Nr the start, I recomend Ogre Beserkers. They are very handy :D . |
Check here http://www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/bald...1/cheats.shtml for instructions on how to cheat in the game and/or to download editors.

You can also Rest In the third level basement of Durlags tower in the room where you fought the three dopplegangers (the three dwarven ones, the throne area) For 4000 points apeice. also I think that if you rest inside the cave in the area of the xvart encampment, when you go outside more xvarts will appear. But don't quote me on that one, its only a vague recollection
|
Xvarts dnt get exp, dnt bother with them. But the dopplegangers...hehe

i dont know whether anyone knows, but kill thanlytar and you paralyse both his flesh golems and can kill them easily. thanlytar isnt hard to kill and all in all you get 7k xp for virtualy nowt.
|
Avy, I think most people do don't they? Or i did!LOL!
And as if you would want to kill Thanlytar. He's a nice bloke, when you get to know him. EXP isn't everything. |
I cant get tha far because my character keeps dying i never have enough gold to by better weapons and armor and i never have gotten enough exp to get past level one.
|
the MOST obvious
|
Pick off easy creatures then, gibberlings, hobgoblins, and xvarts, take all the crap they have and sell it, eventually you'll get there.
Ranged weapons are also good, you can kill them before they hit you. And if you can't even do that, since your haveing a hard time leveling up, then maybe you need to look at your character and decide if its too weak to play?? (sorry for stating the obvious, but not everyone in the world is a gaming buff, and the most obvious stuff might be the overlooked stuff to others) |
Or maybe you should try setting the difficulty level lower. That way you can stay alive long enough to learn different tactics and such, so you can turn it up again.
|
Well, I am just one of those people that doesn't want to know any detail from the game before I discover it myself, so I made the comment about the flesh golems a spoiler, just because there might be more people like me who don't want to know yet that there is a cave, at the lighthouse map, that contains flesh golems. I know it's an obvious and commonly known tactic though....
