Got a fighter/Necromancer that I enjoy somtimes, 8/9 currently I think.

Also got a slew of other chars, not many above tenth level though.

i have another suggestion i would like to make here in the boards. i would like to suggest to form a dedicated group and connect not via gamespy but using IP address which is possible. This is more private and chances are that people will not stumble into the gameplay.

what i suggest is to start a group from level 1 in bg2 all the way to tob. mods may be added but requiring all the groups consent. rules may be added later (ie: such as death in the group and cannot ressurect right away).

i do suggest to start the game sometime end of march so that people may see this thread. this is only an idea. and people who may be interested. pls post here [img]smile.gif[/img]

I'd suggest a one character per player, NPC's allowed but they count towards that limit..


I'd say connect through Gamespy, but password the game, the people can't just join.

err i meant the beginner level in Irenicous dungeon which is lvl 6 at the beginning right?

we could use SK to start lvl 1.. although kinda suicidale heh.

so we would have to arrange the sessions times.. and post it all in advance so people can arrange thier own schedule properly.

i say at least 3 hours per game session. every 2 weeks (or 1 week) making them looking forward to play. additional sessions may be added provided everyone can make it. i would prefer a group of 4 so that 2 npc can give the group additional quest. but a group of 5 or 6 is fine just as well.

98000 XP is what you start with if you roll a new char at the start.

its been ages since ive played bg2. so with the new mods. it will be very interesting for me :D .

Id love to join a BG party but Ive only been through about half of the game, still consider me though, ill play any class but would like to go cleric or fighter.

K, ummm.... lets use Game spy for the time being, or unless you have a better idea. We only use the Characters we Make when we all play, not any other time. It will upset the ballencs of the game....lol. I can make a site easily for us, like for news and stuff like that. I can just subdomain, or backslash my site. So, if you wanna join up, reply here, post where you live(like wat timezone so we can all cordinate when to play), what your gonna make your Character(If you can, go ahead and make it, and put everything about your Character, like the Strength, Class, ext. Also post when you can play. I can play mostly on weekends, and after school on weekdays sometimes. I pull all nighters every friday(starting at 12 midnight) so Im open every Friday Night. Sooooo, if you wanna join, reply here with the information I just asked for... Thankz.

like EB (elvenbeserk says) we have to organize our times so that we can all play. i can only do saterday/sunday so it can be roughly saterday morning if i want to play with EB.

unless you want me to play weimer version of shapeshifter which is fine with me :D .

although its kinda overpowered but we can tone it down with rules for me to follow..
for example: cannot cast spells while shapeshifted and can only shapeshift once or twice a day(rest) greaterwerewolf, while werewolf shape is only 10x a day (rest) possible. but of course i dont mine playing bard or this :D .

Kool, looks like were gonna do good. We gotta choose a time that will work for us all... how about mountain time? GMT -07:00. Its 4:44 over here in the East Coast,(using east coast time). i do suggest weekly game time. so no hassles and everyone can more or less make time for it. (unless its really really important to move it to another date which they can more or less announced a week before)

That said, listing planned proficiencies as well as class[es] would be immensely helpful due to weapon arrangements. I'd have fun playing a thief, myself (though I'd prefer having the option of dual-classing from a weak fighter).

Also GMT -8 here as well [img]smile.gif[/img] I can pull anything on Fridays that are mid-afternoon or late at night (10-11+), or afternoon/evening on weekends.

so if we dont have thw same mods as each other we'd have to get them wouldnt we???

I would be more than happy to do a multiplayer game myself. I have had the game for a few years but never have done that. My problem is that I can't do anything until this semester is up and I have graduated.

well doesnt sound like theres much healing so i suppose ill go for a cleric, maybe start as berserker and dual? have to do it low i imagine to get any healing early on. not sure what time i have vs gmt, id guess gmt - 9 or so? im in pst, so there ya go. spose i maybe could multi, i like to dual more though, it seems more effective than multi... although... multi mage cleric maybe... lemme know which sounds more useful to what we already have i guess.

I've been tempted by the idea of a druid for a while, in fact the only class I don't like playing is probably the mage/sorc and pure fighters..


One thing I would suggest, we all swap the portraits we're going to use before we start, that way we get a feel of the charactors...

so are we going to start from scratch? It would be more fun and have to play all the way to TOB :D .

mods in my mind:
weimer ease of use (certain aspects only)

(the mod where the TOB monk character has a chance to become good) - forgot the name

additional mods for extra cool quest which i havent played

big mod (posted in another thread) we could use that.. has heaps of new stuff..

oh btw.. im pretty much set for blade bard unless i get to play druid (shapeshifter ease of use with restricitons). or another mod that gives me an interesting druid class. (i will take a look on that)
