If you're talking about the original Jean Grey-Pheonix from the early days of the "new" X-Men starting at issue 101 up to about issue 137, then this Pheonix would kick JonBoy's ass in her sleep. For god's sakes, she wiped out entire stars! What's one annoying evil mage compared to that?

Sir Goloum, in the issue 190-210 range, the daughter of Jean Grey (or Pheonix?) and Cyclops came back in time from one alternate future and she had a portion of the Pheonix power.

She too probably would have spanked JonBoy around. While she wasn't as powerful as the first Pheonix, she was able to go toe to toe with The Beyonder in one fight in San Francisco.


I don't know what has transpired in the more recent comic book "history", since I gave them up long ago.

ok ok, since this fight is unbalanced, how about this:
Jonny, CHARNAME and Boo versus Phoenix (Standard Jean Grey)

Depends on which boo you consider, since by cannon he's just a normal hamster, only when we take fan fiction into account does Boo gain most of his power..

Standard Boo, well Phoenix wins again with ease..
