Camembert is a very special person. He has achieved GRANDMASTERY in CHEESE! Years of dedicated training and learning from various books and tomes (hmm, Userunfriendly's one too - the Cheese guide) has made him the best cheeser in Faerun. And as it is the story usually when I play - it's no reloads Tactics on Insane. WHEEEE!
Warning - due to excessive cheese in this game you may find it very tempting to cheese through your games - and eventually lose some fun out of them. ;) But cheesing is fun too, he, he ... This thread will contain many spoilers so beware! I'll try to describe the cheese used in certain situations and fights. Meet our hero: http://img97.exs.cx/img97/9649/camembert5sw.jpg He is cheesy already as being neutral - that makes him immmune to spells like Unholy Blight, Holy Might, ... This will be my pointer for cheese: The first cheese used was to get Jaheira and Minsc in party and dumping them to gain 3000XP from each. Backstabbing and avoiding are Camemberts main goals at the start: http://img151.exs.cx/img151/1306/dungeon17vj.jpg http://img147.exs.cx/img147/9711/dungeon28ha.jpg Camembert was determined to kill Ilyich and there is only one way (I think) to do it with a solo F/T: setting 7 traps! (and resting of course between the setting since Camembert can set only 2 after one rest) And they must hit Ilyich before or after he uses his Rage because that gives him even more HP and then even 7 traps may not be enough. Luring Ilyich out: http://img147.exs.cx/img147/9269/dungeon33fk.jpg And it works: http://img155.exs.cx/img155/403/dungeon49mc.jpg Avoiding more patrols: http://img155.exs.cx/img155/7169/dungeon54fk.jpg and fighting the annoying mephits: http://img155.exs.cx/img155/9529/dungeon60mi.jpg The rest was easy and Camembert has done it! He was out and free! Then the 4xPotion of Master Thievery + steal + sell cheese was used. Roger the Fence was the victim for gaining a large amount of money (around 170.000) and Camembert bought himself: Aeger's hide, Vhailor's helm, Belt of Hill Giant, Defender of easthaven, Shield of Reflection, ... He also stole a lot of potions from Roger and miss Cragmoon (Bridge district) and some scrolls for from Spell Store. The next goal was to get the Shield of Harmony in Trademeet. Camembert set 3 traps (he got a couple of levels and could set 3 per day now) in front of the Genie who guarded the tent. Then he used Vhailor's helm to get a simmy which I will call Wagi for a specific reason that I have. Wagi then used a scroll of Prot from Petrification on Camembert and they destroyed the guard genie with the help from traps. Khan Zahraa was distracted with moose and nypmhs while Camemberts kicked his butt. The Shield of Harmony was secured! ;) |
This is far more interesting than some of the other stories I've heard.
Exploits are always good :D How does the FMT rate against the FT? |
FMT probably eats FT for breakfast. :D
I didn't choose to play FMT beacuse Alson has already completed SOA no reloads game. So I'll try with a FT but with a "little more" cheese in the game. ;) (Camembert also robbed the Trademeet merchant for Belt of Inertial Barrier and other nice items - nothing cheesy here I think ;) ) Camembert has been doing all the minor quests in Athkatla (Tanner, Slavers, Xzar, ...) and here are some pictures from other fights too: http://img138.exs.cx/img138/2272/athkatla11qa.jpg (Harm + Critical hit is not good!) http://img138.exs.cx/img138/1825/athkatla23yi.jpg (Sewer party had no chance - Confusion from Nymphs and Horror from innate ability messed their plans. Backstabs and traps did the rest (also Arrows of Dispeling!)) I repeat to myself everytime but it's still not working - DO NOT underestimate any opponent on Insane: http://img151.exs.cx/img151/3972/athkatla35bm.jpg |
I forgot to add one more cheese - Bag of Holding from the start!
The next stop was Planar Prison where Haer and his friends were captured: Camembert buffed with Potion of fire Giant Strength and Oil of Speed and entered the portal: http://img151.exs.cx/img151/6769/prison14ty.jpg He summoned help from acorns but both nymphs were killed before they could cast confusion in the crowd. What followed was a lot of hiding, backstabbing, gulping of Potions of Invisibility and shooting with Arrows of Dispelling and Arrows of Biting. No cheese here just typical thief tactics. Oh, except on very cheesy summon: Improved Kitthix :D http://img151.exs.cx/img151/1161/prison29ri.jpg After a good rest the final attack was inevitable: Summoning my Wagi: http://img151.exs.cx/img151/1981/prison36im.jpg Wagi then summoned Improved Kitthix and we all attacked the Demon and his Airy guards: http://img151.exs.cx/img151/1660/prison49pt.jpg We then rushed forward to meet the Warden and our joint attacks were to much for him. Interestingly no Yuan-Ti mages appeared this time? http://img151.exs.cx/img151/6007/prison57ey.jpg Camembert du Brie is now level 10/13 Fighter/Thief: http://img151.exs.cx/img151/5143/camembert12xq.jpg |
So basically your waltzing through SoA now, Leslie? You really must be bored!
|
Nice going! Some nice screenshots, and you used a layout that's easy to read Screens help to realy show what your doing. Also, that's a realy cool portrait. I'm currently soloing a cleric/mage on insane, but no tactics. I intend to solo sorc my way through tactics sometime though. Anywhoo, your game looks fun, hope you don't die on your travels
|
Oooooh. Summoning my Wagi. That's so sweet.
Great job and story so far. Cheese your way through SoA. Note to Leslie: DO NOT underastimate your opponents on Insane. :D |
Just relised, you chose a very clever name. I'm not sure what 'Camebert' means, if anything, but you are playing cheesyly, and Brei is a type of cheese :D French? If i'm not mistaken, and the 'Camebert Du' part sounds french. Very clever, leslie ;)
|
Camembert and Brie are both French types of cheese you cultural barbarian
|
I'm a cultural barbarian becuase i'm not a cheese geek? I didn't see you make the association in your post, not until i pointed it out, so nuh

Hmm, i don't think i have a comeback to that...So i'll just say i myself pointed it out for the...less educated...people of ironworks, although i can't think of anyone imparticular :D

Just out of curiosity, where did you rest in the Chateau to get all those extra traps for Illyich without having to deal with the inevitable Duergar Duo Spawn?
I am trying to run a solo assassin and I'm getting my butt handed to me by the Otyugh. The dwarves aren't as bad as I expected. I just lead the fighters down through the room with the mineral deposits in the middle and keep running from there to the cages and back. I try to HiS whenever I turn a corner. When that works, I do my backstab. When it doesn't, I just keep running and stop to throw an occasional dart or shoot an arrow. But so far I haven't found a way to beat the Otyugh. |
One of the screenshots shows a backtstab to the Otyugh so I'd say there's at least a backstab involved ;)

You need to be patient with Otyugh. I think I played at least 10 minutes real time with my F/T before I could finish him. Do not go against Crawlers, wait until they unsummon and then go backstab again. If you miss, go back to shadows. That's what I do in my NRL games since I don't risk too much. When you first backstab Otyugh he starts to regenerate really fast so it's best to hit him once and go untrap that room and then come back when regen wears off. He still regenerates but at a much slower rate. |
I need THAT katana!
Here we go, no more waiting: Already some cheese here - waiting for Galabrezu to finish other summoned creatures: http://img149.exs.cx/img149/940/furyfight16sp.jpg Here's what I found out (it was probably documented before): If I HiS and wear Cloak of Nondetection True Sight CANNOT reveal me, but if I drink a Potion of Invisibility or use Ring of Invisibility and wear Cloak of Nondetection then True Sight or Detect Illusion REVEALS me! So I HiS just before going up and I remain invisible even when I detect traps and run away since Move Silently still keeps me invisible: http://img149.exs.cx/img149/165/furyfight26mt.jpg http://img149.exs.cx/img149/1992/furyfight37sm.jpg Summoning my Wagi who summons more summons :D http://img149.exs.cx/img149/1267/furyfight46up.jpg Ketta is able to follow Camembert by his footsteps and attacks the Genie but Camembert also heard her following so he prepares for the backstab: http://img149.exs.cx/img149/8499/furyfight57ny.jpg YES! http://img149.exs.cx/img149/5179/furyfight64qw.jpg Then he goes for his prize - Koshi gets a bad wound: http://img149.exs.cx/img149/6471/furyfight71mp.jpg Koshi and a couple of other summons follow Camembert right into the ambush: http://img149.exs.cx/img149/9673/furyfight84yr.jpg Koshi has many hitpoints and gulps potions rapidly so it takes 3 or 4 backstabs before he starts pushing up daisies: http://img149.exs.cx/img149/7114/furyfight98hv.jpg http://img149.exs.cx/img149/6596/furyfight106zl.jpg Backstabbing with CFury is something very enjoyable :D : http://img149.exs.cx/img149/7948/furyfight116ex.jpg http://img149.exs.cx/img149/5150/furyfight123tt.jpg http://img149.exs.cx/img149/9867/furyfight136iz.jpg Only Sion left, the pictures tell the story: http://img149.exs.cx/img149/157/furyfight144gg.jpg http://img149.exs.cx/img149/2083/furyfight157ot.jpg Camembert happily left the battlegrounds but had a strange feeling that something very bad may follow ... |
Way to go Leslie! Those backstabbings really did hurt I guess. You better make a good plane for Kuroisan. (Anything new on Fraps?)
|
Next stop way Maevar's guild quest. Camembert didn't have big problems with the smaller tasks - Rayic was a bit tricky but one arrow of dispelling followed by a backstab put him out. Renal got his proof and now Maevar had to die. The upper floors were cleaned with Improved Kitthix (I admit I avoid using him beacuse he is too powerful, but this time I just wanted to make things quick) and backstabs and then after 8 hour rest Camembert gulped one Potion of Invisibility and went downstairs. He checked the situation:
http://img149.exs.cx/img149/3559/maevar14ck.jpg This cheesy trick was invented by Rataxes IIRC. The Assassins follow Camembert's footsteps and he lures them in one of the cells: http://img149.exs.cx/img149/372/maevar25mk.jpg Then the usual Wagi simmy trick with Vhailor's Helm: http://img149.exs.cx/img149/9383/maevar30py.jpg Sending the summons in while Wagi pelted Maevar with Arrows of Dispeling and Arrows of Biting, Air Elemental is immune to normal weapons so Assassins shooting at him achieved nothing ;) and Nypmhs sending in the usual Confusion and Hold spells. Camembert was still waiting for his time: http://img149.exs.cx/img149/46/maevar47un.jpg Maevar ran out of Stoneskins and that was his end: http://img149.exs.cx/img149/8146/maevar53bl.jpg And after the last enemy died Camembert picked the loot (yeah, many Potions of Invisibility ) and became the new guild leader. :D http://img149.exs.cx/img149/3392/maevar69au.jpg |
Yihaa, the crazy Wu Jen katana guy again!
Camembert gave orders to his new thieves and was immediately invited to a meeting with other guild leader at Waukeen's Promenade. But when he arrived another surprise awaited him - Kuriosan, the dreaded Kensai/Mage! :D http://img149.exs.cx/img149/7541/kuro14tb.jpg A lot of hiding and running around followed until Camembert got lucky with a critical hit (he missed on a roll of 18!) and dispelled Kuriosan's Stoneskin: http://img149.exs.cx/img149/3873/kuro27dx.jpg Kuriosan immediately recast his PFMW so Camembert used his old unenchanted katana for the first blood: http://img149.exs.cx/img149/4672/kuro32is.jpg Kuriosan was tough and he managed to reacast Stoneskin as well. But this time he was much easier to hit since many of his protections and illusions were gone: http://img149.exs.cx/img149/3113/kuro48vg.jpg Camembert quickly gulped one Potion of Invisibility and attacked with yet another backstab: http://img149.exs.cx/img149/2439/kuro50qn.jpg Kuroisan was still standing and Camembert summoned a distraction to get another backstab: http://img149.exs.cx/img149/6491/kuro64yb.jpg The last backstab was the sweetest and Camembert was a proud owner of one of the cheesiest weapons in Faerun - the Sanchuuduku acid katana! http://img149.exs.cx/img149/8951/kuro75rp.jpg (note: it seems that dispel from the arrows somehow removed the acidic backlash since Camembert never got hit by it?!?) |
Nice going Leslie I'm about to solo a Priest of uulix through tactics :D I intend to get slaughtered, but i'm not bothered too much. I should hit level 15 soon enough, and get skeleton warriors which will help.
|
Look, who got chunkified on Camembert's way back to the guild:

If I rest near the door, they spawn inside the room, then I run out quickly before they see me. Or I could clear out the first batch in the corridors leading to the library side entrance, the rest there and leave the new spawns in the dust. As for the Otyugh, I didn't realize their regeneration actually slowed down. My assassin learned with the duergar mages and thier spider summons to just run away until they disappeared on their own. I used HiS to sneak past the Otyugh and clear out the hallways on each side so that I would have multiple escape paths after the backstab. I don't mess with the carrion crawlers either. The one time I came close to killing the Big Ugly, his carrion crawler paralyzed me and that was the end of that round. I also have a few arrows of biting, so I will try multiple backstabs and then try to hit him with poisoned Arrows of Biting. The only problem is that the poison from the Otyugh is stronger than mine and almost kills me every time, which means I'm faced with suffering the damage or drinking up what few precious potions of healing I have found so far. And I have a feeling I'm gonna NEED those for the fight with these guys wandering through the library. Sorry to hijack your thread a bit, but I appreciate the advice. I'm seriously considering using the everpowerful Wand of CNTRL-Y against the new-spawns after each rest. Unless you have a multi-class character, there is just NO WAY to get ahead of them when you solo. My Skald would use all of his spells just to kill the new spawns, then he would have to rest, which would spawn more, which would use up all his spells, which meant he had to rest, which would spawn more, etc etc etc. |
Otyugh is immune to missile damage so I'm not sure if Arrows of Biting would actually work.
And about his poison: you need to save vs. death to avoid poisoning from Dolorous Decay. Halflings and Dwarves have very good saves! (not sure about Gnomes). Camembert never failed a save in my last game and he was hit at least 4 or 5 times with DD. ;) [ 12-19-2004, 03:52 AM: Message edited by: Leslie ] |
Mages, halflings and golems everywhere!
The next stop was the Planar Sphere. Camembert picked up Valygar (and stole his armor which will get very handy later ) in Umar Hills and used his blood to open the door. Valygar then waited outside for the outcome: http://img141.exs.cx/img141/8176/sphere11ha.jpg Oops, they hit really hard: http://img141.exs.cx/img141/9373/sphere28cy.jpg Many halflings later Camembert reached Lavok's chamber. He is not joking: http://img141.exs.cx/img141/6949/sphere34my.jpg His simmy Wagi helped with summons and archery: http://img141.exs.cx/img141/5589/sphere41ow.jpg http://img141.exs.cx/img141/4175/sphere50fe.jpg Lavok gave up and asked for help. Sure, let's kick some demon butt! Preparations: http://img141.exs.cx/img141/614/sphere62qg.jpg http://img141.exs.cx/img141/340/sphere75xb.jpg (still buffing :D ) ONE! http://img141.exs.cx/img141/2094/sphere85uk.jpg TWO! http://img141.exs.cx/img141/1207/sphere99kh.jpg THREE!!! http://img141.exs.cx/img141/3484/sphere101jp.jpg Calling wagi again: http://img141.exs.cx/img141/2815/sphere117yb.jpg If you enter the room invisible Tolgerias does nothing so you can fight only his apprentice mage: http://img141.exs.cx/img141/2118/sphere122kg.jpg Uhhh, Tolgerias wakes up: http://img141.exs.cx/img141/6593/sphere131ao.jpg After he got confused it was game over: http://img141.exs.cx/img141/3494/sphere143gq.jpg Transforming into a rat with Cloak of Sewers and holding DoE in off-hand gives Camembert 110% physical resistance: http://img141.exs.cx/img141/279/sphere157cb.jpg http://img141.exs.cx/img141/2753/sphere168ud.jpg The only problem was constant slowing from the golems so this tactic didn't work so well, it was time for the Shield of Reflection cheese combined with occasional hit from the shadows. Aaarrgh, this hurts: http://img141.exs.cx/img141/821/sphere177ky.jpg The bad guys are gone and the good guys carry on: http://img141.exs.cx/img141/8791/sphere188fy.jpg |
Some nice screens, there. Still pondoring what to solo through tactics, advice would be nice. Also, i didn't know the rat + DoE trick. Might put it into use sometime :D

- for powergaming: F/M, R/C, F/M/T, Blade or Sorcerer - for stealthy more cheesy approach: F/T, Swashbuckler, Assassin, Kensai/Thief, Archer, Stalker - for getting in trouble: Beastmaster :D (hmm, dualwielding Blackblood and Fulcrum and with fighter HLA's he could kick butt too ;) ) |
*woo 400 posts* I've heard that when reaching higher levels, swachbucklers are realy nasty in combat. I got a cleric/mage undergo atm, so that's a nono for sorcerer. I've played with a blade before, so nah to that too. I also have a R/C going. An archer could be interesting, as could a stalker and assasin. I've never been a fan of the kensai, either. So, what i'm left with, is an Archer, a swashbuckler, an assasin, a stalker, and beastmaster, but i'm not sure how he could beat a fighter in combat, so why not play one of them? I reckon I'll end up with an archer. Cheers for helping, Leslie :D

First lich experience
Camembert heard of the lich in the City gates so he went to check him out. He found his hiding place and set some traps just case: http://img141.exs.cx/img141/3103/lich13vx.jpg Whenever lich tried to cast a spell Camembert ran out and disrupted him. A magical sword followed so there had to be a waiting game: http://img141.exs.cx/img141/1849/lich25wh.jpg Arrows to the rescue: http://img141.exs.cx/img141/9851/lich33mw.jpg http://img141.exs.cx/img141/9058/lich47iz.jpg Hey, I found a nice sword, mumbled Camembert to himself. ;) |
Hunt for Faldorn
Druid Grove proved to be very tricky for Camembert. He didn't have any big damaging AoE spells or effects so he had to rely on stealth and divide & conquer tactic: http://img141.exs.cx/img141/4697/druid10nw.jpg This big pack was attacked by Wagi, Camembert and 2 Improved Kitthix: http://img141.exs.cx/img141/5196/druid20dt.jpg (I was a little afraid of those Greater Command spells but Camembert already has save vs. spells at 0 (with equipment) so he should be fine) Kyland Lind and his ambush took a lot of time, running, hiding, disrupting and backstabbing: http://img141.exs.cx/img141/1050/druid34au.jpg Hey, Spore Colonies can be backstabbed too :D : http://img141.exs.cx/img141/9195/druid41jq.jpg Camembert bought 10 Oils of Speed and showed his gratitude: http://img141.exs.cx/img141/1815/druid56ip.jpg The last group before the temple and the same divide & conquer tactic: http://img141.exs.cx/img141/5203/druid63ts.jpg Camembert had no other option but to ask Cernd to fight for the Grove: http://img141.exs.cx/img141/1452/druid75eo.jpg Only one cheese used here (while still playing on Insane!) and that is Rod of Resurrection used as a heal spell! Whenever Camembert felt that Cernd was in trouble he "sent him his blessings" and Cernd was fully healed. Still it took 7 charges of the rod for Cernd to win this fight. Yeah, fight of Parmesan against Gorgonzola! ;) http://img141.exs.cx/img141/1568/druid80ft.jpg http://img141.exs.cx/img141/6739/druid90it.jpg Then some smaller quests in Trademeet: http://img141.exs.cx/img141/1225/druid103il.jpg And look what Camembert du Brie got for Ph.D. in cheese: http://img141.exs.cx/img141/3639/druid111dx.jpg |
The Cult
Something is fishy about this cult so Camembert went into the sewers and beyond to see what is happening. He reached one priest Gaal and another Sassar and they had different stories of what is going on. Well, let's see, here's one Ghast less anyway: http://img141.exs.cx/img141/337/cult10eo.jpg Wow, beholder ambush! http://img141.exs.cx/img141/8883/cult29oo.jpg Hey, one of the small ones followed me: http://img141.exs.cx/img141/2425/cult35qv.jpg The legendary (and cheesy ) Shield of Balduran reflects their rays: http://img141.exs.cx/img141/9249/cult48ca.jpg Some shadows had to be sent to their undead heaven before Camembert reached the strange building and was asked to help again. He had to go right into the pit of the Unseeing eye. Sending fire elemental first which cannot be hit by ghasts and mummies while Camembert snipes them with Upgraded Azuredge: http://img141.exs.cx/img141/6831/cult51mo.jpg Wagi casted Prot. from Magic on Camembert who is about to fight the army of undead with a lich as their leader: http://img141.exs.cx/img141/237/cult62mh.jpg Yihaaa, Sunray to you undead bastards: http://img141.exs.cx/img141/5629/cult77ui.jpg Uhh, Camembert looks for a little less crowded spot: http://img141.exs.cx/img141/3452/cult84xa.jpg The lich manages to teleport him back but at the same time dispels his own protections and just before he recasts his PFMW Camembert takes the chance and hits the lich right into the eye (hmm, or only the socket :D ): http://img141.exs.cx/img141/1061/cult94et.jpg Finishing off the last undead: http://img141.exs.cx/img141/8568/cult106so.jpg That Prot. from Magic is still very handy when fighting beholders: http://img141.exs.cx/img141/8629/cult116bz.jpg Wohoo, Camembert can use wand of Cloudkill: http://img141.exs.cx/img141/6472/cult120fu.jpg Preparing a warm welcome for the Unseeing eye: http://img141.exs.cx/img141/3676/cult139vh.jpg Bye, bye: http://img141.exs.cx/img141/2641/cult149op.jpg And finishing what he started: http://img141.exs.cx/img141/9562/cult153ef.jpg |
The path to the PRECIOUS ONE
Camembert was anxious to try his new traping skill, the Spike Trap. This trap ranks very high among cheesemeisters and he wanted to know why. So he decided to challenge the evil thing that resided in the tomb that he saw while doing the Unseeing eye quest. He set a Spike trap and a couple of normal traps just in case and lured the evil lich out. Kabooom : http://img75.exs.cx/img75/363/kangaxx19mm.jpg Whew, this really rocks! Camembert did a small enquiry and located another lich. Aha, here you aree: http://img74.exs.cx/img74/2008/kangaxx29zg.jpg Hey, let's try this trap again: http://img74.exs.cx/img74/48/kangaxx39du.jpg Booom, and the Elemental lich was gone: http://img74.exs.cx/img74/6238/kangaxx43nj.jpg The parts of the body that he got from the liches were parts of the puzzle. And the solution started at this door: http://img74.exs.cx/img74/3747/kangaxx56bo.jpg Aaaahh, what a reception: http://img74.exs.cx/img74/7167/kangaxx60zy.jpg One of the liches followed and used his fancy teleport thingy: http://img74.exs.cx/img74/7571/kangaxx73zd.jpg But nothing that Azuredge couldn't handle. Ther fighter seemed very dangerous so Camembert applied his favorite tactic: http://img74.exs.cx/img74/4928/kangaxx82jj.jpg The remaining lich also met the deadly axe: http://img74.exs.cx/img74/3681/kangaxx95zy.jpg Wow, where did you come from? Speedy Gonzales the dwarf: http://img74.exs.cx/img74/8007/kangaxx101pj.jpg The super cheesy Time trap enables Camembert to do his job without worrying about his health: http://img74.exs.cx/img74/2672/kangaxx111ts.jpg But the Dwarf is sturdy and needs much more than that tickling: http://img74.exs.cx/img74/3056/kangaxx120dv.jpg http://img74.exs.cx/img74/4374/kangaxx137xv.jpg Wagi protected Camembert and himself with Prot. from Magic and they both sincerely hoped that this would be sufficient against the horrible Kangaxx: http://img74.exs.cx/img74/8140/kangaxx149cu.jpg Kangaxx is a master caster: http://img74.exs.cx/img74/6303/kangaxx152fy.jpg But even the best can have their bad moments :D : http://img74.exs.cx/img74/9549/kangaxx160th.jpg Oh my god, what have we done, Wagi? Now he is really pissed: http://img74.exs.cx/img74/4456/kangaxx175ps.jpg The deadly imprisonment was stopped to the relief of Camembert: http://img74.exs.cx/img74/7323/kangaxx181hg.jpg Camembert patiently waited for the right timing and hit the bloody skull with his holy weapon. http://img74.exs.cx/img74/9545/kangaxx199cg.jpg YES, the legendary ring was in the hands of the cheesemaister!!! |
And a cloak...
While Camembert was still under the protection of the sphere he remembered that a nasty shelich also resides in the docks. Surely this sphere will help detroy that b..ch too. Aha, here she is: http://img74.exs.cx/img74/3825/shelich12sj.jpg Yes, bad things could happen. (Dragon fear IGNORES magic resistance and also the sphere so Camembert gulped one Potion of Clarity before entering. Remember that! ;) ): http://img74.exs.cx/img74/4672/shelich21vl.jpg This fight was actually much more intense than it looks. Shelich casted Simulacrum and also Project Image and they were throwing everything they got at Camembert. And he skillfully avoided the undead followers in that same room. That shooting Skeleton was annyoing like hell. Those arrows were not deflected by Shield of reflection (they may be magical or something) so Camembert used Hardiness + Belt of Ine. Barr. to withstand the barrage while attacking the lich: http://img74.exs.cx/img74/3559/shelich37rf.jpg Finally the room was cleared and a magical cloak, a very useful ring a super high level scroll were in Camembert's possession: http://img74.exs.cx/img74/8260/shelich45zd.jpg Here is our proud hero: http://img74.exs.cx/img74/758/camembert29fw.jpg |

still a character i want to play through as a solo although i abandoned my FMT . . . i'm enjoying the words and pictures |
NICE, Leslie. Looks like a realy great game, but you'll hang yourself if you die :D
|
@JrKASperov: Yeah, I forgot about "normal" Valygar's armor which I can use now with UAI. My plan is to use Upgraded Valygar's armor which is really great. Combine that with Belt of Inertial Barrier and you have 100% resistance to magic damage. I can laugh at ADHW! :D
@TheGodThatFailed: Now with UAI, Spike traps and Hardiness there is a very good chance to at least get to Jonny boy. I have already raised my focus when I play. (if that is possible at all ) |
