Spoilers maybe not sure :S

Well in the planar sphere i killed 2 demons and used 1 heart to get the planar sphere back to where i am ment to go. I am out of the sphere and have 1 heart in my inventory what do i use it for, can i use it for anything??

If you have it, certain recipes in the Item Upgrade mod use demon hearts as reagents. I don't think there is any use for extra hearts in the unmodded game.

d'oh i'm playing the unmodded version and i want to keep that way silly game 2 demons and only need 1 heart slaps bioware

Harkoliar 09-05-2004 10:16 AM

actually... i think it was an option since one of the demons was easier to kill than the other.

In my first game I accidently (I think it was an accident) ran into both demons. Both took a couple of reloads

Just to be a neatpick ;)

There are 3 demons. After all it is a lower plane where demons roam. 1, 2 or 3 hearts is only a matter of XP if you don´t have Item upgrade-mod.

Of course, if you're doing the Planar Sphere early like I usually do, you'll want to stick with one. Paladins might want to do all three for roleplaying reasons. Well, less intelligent paladins, anyway.

I have a character who eats demon hearts.

Shadow015 09-09-2004 08:49 AM

Really? How are they? Do they go well with french fries?

that's a cool idea actually - someone who collects all of the 'organic' inventory items - off the top of my head various hearts, a head, various bodies, a hand, bits of dog . . .

Yes, but it's pretty useless, tiresome and disgusting to do so and i don't think anyone would do such a thing...

Shadow015 09-10-2004 12:29 AM

A necromancer would disagree with you there.

Armen 09-10-2004 04:26 AM

necromancer would be the sort of thing - i just thought it was one way of giving a slightly different motivation to your character as they journey round the world

my next party character will be a PC gnome cleric/thief who will collect every gemstone she finds and never sell them (i haven't decided about jewelery) - you can imagine it can't you? "put that plate mail +1 down, i need the slot to carry this bloodstone . . ."

Moon-Child_Lman 09-10-2004 08:08 AM

Yeah, i guess a necromancer would need all the body pieces for his spells or something, or trophies or some such. And if you want to collect gems, that would be cool, also don't miss the Beljuril gem, you can get 3 of them in the game and if you don't have enough space use gem bags or/and the Bag of Holding
