I had to reboot my puter and that meant starting over in the game. I've found a few new things that I didn't know before.I thought that was cool. I was just wondering if anyone else has started over more than once and what U thought about it.

Just something to talk about.

Most players restart more than once. You try out something, decide you don't like it, start something else. In fact, there are ones like me that have a bunch of save games out there where I started playing something then left it off, only to start another game. And yes, you do learn new things after playing again; in fact, that is the most rewarding way to do it.

Good luck with your new game!

yeah, dload the Dungeon be gone mod tho. After you have started over half a dozen times this dungeon is really irritating!

I've played about a dozen characters through Chapter 2 then lost interest. I've only finished the game once.

Try this to keep things interesting. If you start a new game be a different class (class not kit) than you were last time. It changes quite a few things. Try being a mage. That way if you play good parties you don't wish that there was a alternative to Edwin.

Chapter 2 is most fun though because of the freedom you have, deciding what to do etc.

Also you should try playing a multiplayer game. you'll find out loads of fun stuff when you do that. i remember the first time i did that, they all went like "ok i'll kill the genie and get the 2-handed sword"
I didnt know there *was* a genie in irenicus' dungeon ^_^

You're right, Nerull. I've also started a number of games, only to go back and create new PC's before getting very far. I also have only finished the game once. I have two games that I have played for a little while and made some progress in. My assassin has already gotten 4 of the keeps (thanks to Ease of Use Mod) and is preparing to do the Unseeing Eye Cult. My kensai (that may dual to mage) is just getting ready to go to De'Arnise Keep. I also have an evil Jester and a solo Bard (Skald kit) that have just recently escaped Irenicus' dungeon and have just started exploring Akthala.

In addition to these, I got on a kick one day and decided to create several different PC's to see which ones I would like. I currently have a halfling bounty hunter (that I'm really interested in playing through the game), a female cleric/mage, a female Undead Hunter (named Buffy Van Helsing  ), a elven female fighter/mage (for a second solo game), a monk, and a dwarven barbarian. None of these characters have done more than the first few encounters in Chateau Irenicus (and many haven't even been played at all yet).

Out of all these characters, the halfling bounty hunter is the one I'm most interested in playing right now.

Oh yeah - I forgot that I just created two dwarven beserkers last night. One has High Mastery in long sword and the other has High Mastery in war hammer (both have 2 slots in dual-wield). These characters were created just to test a theory that a solo dwarven beserker cannot beat Improved Illyich on Insane. Of course, you never know. I might end up liking them enough to keep them - IF I actually beat Illyich, that is. ;)

Wow, cool. Report your progress, Cerek. I might actually make a Blade and do a solo no reloads on Insane for a challenge too. ;)
