Ok, so I'm doing a list of Noteworthy NPC's, where you can find them, and who they comment too. Hopefully, I'll actually update this.
This list's purpose is to enhance the gaming experience with your NPCs. If you like reading NPC dialogue between total strangers (Non-Recruitable NPCs), just search for a name on this list and which NPCs a stranger comments to. Warning, just a tad spoilerish... Stivan the Hunter: Race: Halfling Gender: Male Can be found: In the bridge district, at the southeastern docks closest to where you fight the Fallen Paladins Makes Comments to: Aerie, Minsc Sidenotes: Hates Seagulls Bertrand the 'Companion': Race: Gnome Gender: Male Can be found: In the Bridge District, just ten feet from where you fight the Fallen Paladins Comments: Mazzy specifically, but will say something indirectly to any female character, Jan Jansen as well Sidenote: Only found at nightime Qadeel: Race: Human (Chubby {Fat} Guy) Gender: Male Can be found: In the Bridge District, on the docks south of where you'll find Stivan the Hunter Comments: Jahiera makes a comment at him after you save him Sidenote: Ogres will try to kill him. If you kill the ogres, you gain EXP and gold from Qadeel, but is it really worth it? (EDIT: I've been notified if you help the ogres instead, you get EXP too) Crazy Celvan: Race: Gnome (Looks like a Halfling) Gender: Male Can be found: The Docks District, near Mae'var's Guild Comments: To almost every NPC, until he comments to the PC :( Sidenote: You might want to complete the Renal Bloodscalp Quest before talking to Celvan, seeing as how he runs in there at times and will disappear once you get the guild (This is if you're a thief). After you get the guild, he won't disappear. Stanet: Race: Halfling Gender: Male Can be found: Almost anywhere in the Bridge District Comments: Korgan, Mazzy Sidenote: He wanders a lot, there are two Stanets Salvanas: Race: Elf Gender: Male Can be found: In the Slums District at the Copper Coronet Comments: Aerie, Mazzy, Nalia, Jahiera, Viconia, Female Edwin, Imoen (If you patch it, the Kelsey MOD and Imoen Romance MOD have it), and the Female PC. Sidenote: It's a good idea to pause it right away after Edwin is done talking to him, or you lose reputation if you don't stop Edwin. Kveroslava: Race: Human Gender: Female Can be found: Near one of the southern gates at trademeet. Comments: Has a fortune for almost every Npc, including the pc...various mods will change the fortune or add to them, for example kelsey. Neeber!!!: Race: Human Gender: Male Can be found: Trademeet Comments: Neeber! Neeber! Neeber! Sidenotes: If you keep talking to Neeber instead of waiting, you get some +2 bullets which he thinks are rocks. SoA's answer to Noober! Samuel Thunderburp: Race: Halfling Gender: Male Can be found: At the Five Flagons Inn in the Bridge District. He’s the bartender and owner. Comments: Mazzy, Haer’Dalis Sidenote: Gives Mazzy his Boots of Stealth, and Haer’Dalis a diamond. Ribald Bartelman (Spelling? I’m too lazy to check myself): Race: Human (Looks like an Elf) Gender: Male Can be found: At the Adventurer’s Mart, in Waukeen’s Promenade, he owns it. Comments: Mazzy and Jahiera, probably some more, I don't remember. Sidenote: Carries a nifty Ring of Regeneration that one of questionable morals might be tempted to pickpocket. Orionna: Race: Human (Noblewoman) Gender: Female Can be found: The Government district, a bit south of where you find Viconia, near Keldorn's estate Comments: Viconia alone, Valygar/Viconia, Anomen, Keldorn (I'm fairly sure), Aerie (Again, only fairly sure), Nalia. Sidenote: If you have Viconia and Valygar in the party and have her speak with Valygar, Viconia will butt in, say something rather humorous, and this will lead to Viconia and Valygar fighting. Usually found at day. Tiax: Race: Gnome (Looks like a Halfling) Gender: Male Can be found: Spellhold Makes Comments to: PC Sidenotes: World domination!! Bernard: Race: Human (Chubby Guy) Gender: Male Can be found: In the Slums, at the Copper Coronet Makes comments to: Jahiera Sidenotes: He's the bartender Shank: Race: Elf or Half-elf (Can someone verify this?) Gender: Male Can be found: In the Bridge District, near the gigantic mansion right smack dab in the middle of the map Makes comments to: No one as far as I know Sidenotes: Accompanied by Carbos and Bubbles. A few corrections: His name is Crazy Celvan, there are actually two Stanets (that use the same dialogue), Salvanas does actually have something to say to Imoen if you've installed Kelsey, and the fortuneteller's name is Kveroslava.

The bartender in the Five Flagon's will give Mazzy some boots. Forgot his name though. I assume he is a Halfling.

Noblewoman Race: Human noblewoman Gender: Female Can be found: The Government district, a bit south of where you find Viconia Comments: Viconia alone, Valygar/Viconia, Anomen, Keldorn (I'm fairly sure), Aerie (Again, only fairly sure). Sidenote: If you have Viconia and Valygar in the party and have her speak with Valygar, Viconia will butt in, say something rather humorous, and this will lead to Viconia and Valygar fighting. |

Ok, just to let everyone know, my modem won't work, this is my dad's laptop I type from. So if I don't update for a while...it's cause of my dial up modem.

He's in Baldur's Gate. Good luck finding him. My suggestion is, walk around the city area by area, casting Detect Evil when you enter each area. He's evil, so that'll help you refine your search. Now, I THINK he's in one of the central areas. He's definately not near the Blushing Mermaid area, or the docks area (Near Umberlee's temple or the HarborMaster's house)... I'm tempted to say he might might MIGHT be somewhere around the Ragefast's Tower area, but I'm not sure.

I didn't want to make another post, so I'll leave my question here, anyone have a problem with their computer locking after they installed BGII SOA and TOB?
And if so, did a Baldurdash Fixpack fix this? I was planning on downloading the Baldurdash Patches, but with my modem on my computer gone (And since I've been forbidden to download anything on this laptop), I'll just have to wait, but I'd like to see if someone else had the same problem first. |

There's some random townsperson at the Athkatla Gates who's more or less unexceptional except for his constant burbling about joining the army... if you have Minsc, Anomen or Valygar with you, he'll talk to them too.
