Short Answer: Yes
You can change your character model when using the Debug cheat and pressing Ctrl+6 or Ctrl+7 to cycle through the different models aswell.

However you gotta be careful with:
non-spellcasting models for spellcasters
non fighting models for ... well everybody

also i've found putting elven avatars for non elves, or vice versa (I can't remember which) could be bad...

I've also heard that giving sarvok the spikey armor avatar from bg1 and giving him a two handed weapon can crash the game...sigh...

Odd, my KensaiMage always uses the elven mage avatar (looks nice :D ) and never experienced any problems with that...

Just don't go around making your character HUGE because it could cause some problems.

Perhaps. You can find them at http://www.gamefaqs.com/
Here are some:
CTRL+I -- random conversation between party members (NPCs only)
CTRL+Q -- makes the creature at the mouse cursor join the party
CTRL+Y -- kills person mouse cursor is over
CTRL+1 -- change the armor of the paper doll (just a visual change)

Faceman 11-09-2003 02:52 PM

Ctrl+R removes all damage and magical effects (negative and positive) from targeted char
Ctrl+Y does not necessarily kill a person it applies 1147dmg (some enemies have scripts that prevent death)
Ctrl+J makes selected jump (=teleport) to mouse cursor
Ctrl+X shows you the coordinates of your position on the map and the resource name of the area

cntrl-t speeds up the ingame clock
cntrl-esc pops you out of the game, and allows you to quit the game if it crashes and locks
