The shapeshifter Rebalancing mod is very balanced.

I wouldn't say that. It moves things from "poor" to "strong" rather than from "poor" to "medium".

He was being sarcastic, hence the "run away" comment.

SixOfSpades 09-22-2003 09:11 PM

*aims a Sunstone Bullet at Zuvio's retreating form and agrees with weimer 150%*

(With the 150% meaning, I think it moves things from "poor" to "Big Metal Unit.")

I tried the mod but soon grew tired of its power...should have just changed the kit name to Werewolf Mage...as there really is no point in changing back to original form....Shame really

IS this rebalanced wolfwhere thingy in the ease of use mod?

Yes.

JrKASperov 09-23-2003 12:02 PM

Really, you should NOt be able to cast spells while being bulky and hairy and NOT fine in movement.

weimer 09-23-2003 01:26 PM

Ogre Magi (and many other D&D critters) do it all the time. Newer versions of that component give a spell failure percentage while in transformed-form.

Dundee Slaytern 09-24-2003 12:24 AM

"Realism" aside... does anybody know what the 2nd Ed rules say about this?

Purely out of curiosity, do the newer vesions also tone down the BMU factor?

AuraMancer 09-24-2003 08:36 AM

Well, till now on none of my spells have failed, what is the chance of failure?

Mu shapeshifter I really strong now...He can tank the whole day and not get hit because of his -14 AC ^_^

But Im still in chapter2 though:P
