Hi! You know the priest who gives you the Unseeing Eye quest? I have this problem with him. Like you probably know,there is a group fighting between Gaal and this guy. I can`t talk to him. When Korgan tries to talk to him he says that he wants to speak with the leader of the group.-the PC. So i try to talk to him and the battle text box says."X has nothing to say to you)


X=the guy. I can`t remember his name so i gave him X name.


I have all patches(Official ToB patch and Baldurdash Fixpack)


Any tips?

The patch is supposed to fix that. It worked for me, I had the same problem...the Jailkeep golem didn't talk to me either, for that matter, and it fixed them both.

AFAIK the patch fixes "X appears busy at the moment". What? Suddenly this is all the same? Should I reinstall patch and/or the whole game?

lol, answering yourself? For me, the patch fixed your problem. Both the Cult guy and the golem had nothing to say, but the patch fixed it.

Well I am reinstalling now. It`s good to know that i saved my "Saves" into another directory. I wouldn`t want to start a whole new game for my no-reload party! So i reinstall and we continuoe our adventure!

I've run into similar problems a couple of times, I would fix it by saving (presumably near the person), then quitting the game, restarting, and loading the save. YMMV.

Sorry, but i think the patch will fix the problem only after you start a new game. P.S. make sure the X(what IS his name!?!) is alone, kill every hostile!

Sh**. Something is messed up! I think i messed up something when i was installing Mods. It`s driving me crazy. I`ll reinstall again and report back to you.

Same thing, Xen. Cataephract, remember my problem? It had something to do with installing the Imoen Romance mod. After I reinstalled with your file, I didn't install the mod, and BGII is still working perfectly.

Yeah, I'm a little wary of installing too many mods, so I just stick to the "Ease of Use" mods, and any official patches. Besides, the whole Imoen romance thing is just a little strange to me.

I will say this of BGII. Normally, if I had to reinstall a game three times, and deal with so many other bugs, I'd give up on it. But I've stuck with the game, much more so than my other buggy game NWN.

Oh, I don't install the Imoen Romance for the romance, I install it for the interaction, and so that I can annoy the hell out of Imoen (Evil party :D )

But yea, I don't like too many mods...they don't interact well.
