1: No Cheating
2: you can load charachters ( but i prefer that they dont carry items )
3: I prefer a Team with all classes ( but you can chose your own class )
4: If you contact me please sent a mail or post you class here + the team off classes you wish to have like

like that ..

5: Were doing this for fun so keep it a clean game
6: We will have to talk in the game or at least have kind of plan how to do it

ill play(been thinking of posting something like this myself). i can be pretty much any character(not a druid though).

my character could be an elven stalker/chaotic good

i would also suggest that we keep the party as non-powergaming as possible, meaning that the characters do not all have maxed out stats(example: a mage with stats like str 18, dex 18 and con 18 as well as having 18 int. thats just my [img]graemlins/2cents.gif[/img] though...but i will at least have a more realistic character(i find it more fun to play with a character like that)

as you can see, i didnt roll with powergaming in mind. I also gave my stalker a new biography, just to give him a little more "feeling". just tell me when were gonna start

edit: is it ok if he has 161000 instead of the 89000? he has been made as if he had gone through TotSC...

i think it would be best that PM your IP to the players and put a password on the game. the reason you should do this is that your computer can easily be hacked if one knows your IP(at least thats what ive understood), and though id like to think there are no hackers here at IW, i not that naive. do we start right away?

but problem is we need to talk about things and such

does evry one have latest patch ?
are we going to take NPC's of pc in ?
when are we going to play ?.
are we going to play once or continue ?
are we just going to rush and kill what we pass ?

i pull my mage to a safe place and start casting spells
and send warrior to fight ...

so we should at least think things over before we start playing
i prefer a bit preperation and not just rush into the game
if you dont like this, we could also just start

i would prefer to roleplay as much as possible. i will play the game and accordingly to my alignement and what i believe the character would do. about the pausing: in a mp game, i think it would be best for the host to be the only one pausing, and just so that the mages/clerics can cast their spells. to make the game more enjoyable, it would indeed be good to talk(write). the best thing would be chatting through a microphone, but thats when it gets complicated, since not all players use english as a primary language, which results to pronaunciation difficuties and misunderstandings. im not sure if we should take NPCs, atleast im only going to control my stalker. lastly, it would be all the better if we would make some tactical desicions instead of just walking and killing everyone in sight. also, no prebuffs/cheese in battles where the characters could NOT know that there would be a battle. thats just my opinion though.

I would love the chance to play online with others, I do not like the NPC's in the game much, adored Xan in the first one, I have got as far as chapter 4, but only as far as to land on the island and get killed repeatedly by a setup ambush of things my weapon on my theif could not hit. So I am not an expert to Baldurs Gate 2 but have explored almost everywhere before Chapter 4. I have a friend who will most likely want to join in with us, since we have both got broadband now and can play multiplayer and are both looking for some people to role play with, only drawback is I do not have TOB, I would like to play a thief or assassin, and have stats similar in the way that Raistlin mentioned. otherwise it would be great, but you cant play if you dont have ToB. Not that we wouldnt let you, you just need to have everything exactly the same, meaning game, version and possible mods. sorry

yes, i guess that would be a choice aswell. we could also de-install just for a while and then re-install after Aliyah L'bliss gets ToB. this way we could start as soon as possible.
