I have a R/C hwo is Chaotic Good...my reputation is 11 and i can`t get Lethinan to start the Slavers quest...i pay him 50 GPs and i cannot start the quest..."you can look around" he said....


I usually pay him 200G GPs,but i do not even have this option

any clues?

I have had characters with 8 CHA successfully getting the dialogue option to explore the other side of the copper coronet. The cutoff point cannot be 12.

I've never hand to pay Lehtinan a dime.

Assuming you are using a stock REACTION.IDS and stock LEHTIN.DLG, the breakpoint is between CHA 7 and 8. 7 and lower you will always have to pay, 8 and higher, you only have to pay if you push Lehtinan over whether he is telling the truth about knowing nothing about the slaves.

You had the option to pay 50, but not 200? Just out of curiousity, how much money do you have?

Is this the Improved Copper Coronet or something? Because I, too, have never had to pay a single copper, only bemoan the terrible weight of my purse.

It could be TDD or something like that. I have never installed anything but FR, Tactics and Weimer Items, plus a couple other item packs. Someone may have modded the Lehtinan script. It is easy enough to do. But why you wouldn't add new options, just make it more likely that you have to pay a pittance, seems more effort than it is worth.

It's not a problem with the improved CC from Tactics. That only uses 2 new .BAFs -- one for the Gorf script, the other just places about a dozen extra guards. Neither affects the Lehtinan script.

Even for my lowest charismatic chars i never had to pay gold. whew, now i know my char actually has a point ;)
