Alright, this is my first time getting the cleric stronghold other than the temple of helm one. i have just done the unseeing eye wit my generic cleric, returned to get my reward, and denyed the temple of helm, see, i want the temple of lathandar. Is there any way to do without have a priest of lathandar?
i DO have a save right before i deny the temple, so its ok if i have to go back, i just want a different temple this time and get my room in the lathandar one instead. Any way at all to do this? Xero |
If you're playing a pureclass Cleric, you can get a stronghold that corresponds with your alignment. So you would get Lethander's temple only if you're good. But I understand that you are neutral.
You can change your alignment with ShadowKeeper, if you really wish. |
Ah! i cant believe i forgot about that :D
hehe.. i feel rally dumb now haha. i didnt think about my alignmnt. heh, wont forget again ;) thanks. |
The two strongholds are all but identical. You council the same people though with slightly different responses and in the end you receive the same amount of experience. As a Priest of Taltos you have a more interesting job ( a lot of killing is going on and your doing a good chunk of it) and strangely enough you get slightly more experience. Who says evil doesn’t have its perks.

Actually, you mean three. Helm (neutral), Lathandar (good), and Talos (evil). I think they need to put more religious buildings in there.. what about those of us who want a diff god/goddess?

I think the phrase "Tough Chit" applies to that question....i shall not use the correct spelling of "Chit"...as this is after all a family board...

I think were gonna get some pretty ugly looking religious wars in Amn; if where going to put in temples that praise Cyric, Bhaal or even Lord Ao :D
Look at the Cult of the Unseeying Eye, even a little eyeless *Beholder* that is praised must be obliterated by all 3 of the Temples located in Amn (even the temple of Talos), because they don't like the way it is thinking and they are afraid that their followers will turn to the Cult. See what kind of havoc their will be when followers of Cyric raise a Temple in Amn |
Maybe you could setup your own religon in BG2....for TAX reasons of course!
|
Yes!
All praise Selune!!! Hail the silver lady :D |
its easy for the druids, all their temples are the same thing, the Earth. they can have a temple anywhere they want one, but they dont need to make it, for as long as its natural earth it is the essence of thier diety. Even the followers of Talos and Cyric cant dstroy the druids temples, for they would have to destroy all nature ;)
