1. Press the Print Scrn button on your keyboard.
2. Don't Know
3. Right here.
4. Not sure, maybe.

1) no idea

2) no idea

3) no idea (i think it goes to the ini which would look like baldur.ini i think that would be my computer then c dive then BG2 then baldurs.ini but im not sure.)

4) I belive that wizards cant dual but if they can i would have to say yes because a character can dual into any other class but this means in the begging you will have to make to stats high such as int and cons which is hard to do in BG2.

Ganrell, he said where does he install it, not download it.

1. print screen button
2. IEEP if i remember correctly..
3. either override folder or just bg 2 folder, should say in the read me for it
4. i dont think wizards can duel.

Wizards can dual if they have the right stats. However, they can only dual to a class that other races can multi (i.e. thief, cleric, or fighter, but not a ranger, paladin, druid, or bard). Also, I don't believe the wiz can dual if he/she is a specialist.

I mean such as this. I am making a thief and I wonder if she can later dual to a ranger if possible.

The only thing rangers can dual to is cleric.

<font color="lightblue">Making a custom party:
Go to multiplayer. Create as many characters as you want. Save. Go to your BG2 directory. Move the savegame from MPSave to Save. You now have a custom party in a single player game. </font>

jamalez 03-15-2003 08:19 PM

yep for #2. but make sure to enter a game and session name because i got stuck and very confused with that for a few days lol

Dar'tanian 03-15-2003 09:27 PM

OOO thats what number two meant!! Well custom characters are good in ways because they can be full in things most important to them while some npcs really arent as best as the could be stats wise. BUt there cantb any romances or character talk like there can be with NPCs, i do belive custom is better though.

Xero279 03-15-2003 10:16 PM

Eh, i dissagree. Custom can be fun, but on a role playing sense its not cool.

How many people have perfect stats? not many. NPCs show that you arent perfect, so even though they might be a cleric they might not have 18 in wisdom. 18 is perfect for mortals (few exceptions). 25 is god hood. just because your a good cleric doesnt mean your going to have 18 wisdom, or a good mage 18 intelligence.

i like NPCs beter because you get good interactions and it shows that we are all flawed.

Vedran 03-16-2003 02:36 PM

You have the point, Xero, but custom characters can also be flawed. Make a blind ranger, for example (Blindness all the time :D ).

jamalez 03-16-2003 06:11 PM

this is off topic but its a funny message:

If you are playing SoA and you press ctrl+alt+esc it minimizes then you right click on the tab and close and it says are you sure you want to quit? Boo will miss you. LOL
