Okay, I've got the all-strongholds patch, but I'm a Mage anyway. Just finished planar sphere and took Lavok outside. Same dialogue as always - nothing new. Looted the Ring of Acuity as normal. Went back inside and the place is empty. Except for the Solamnic Knights, and they left after I spoke w/ them.

What give? Did I fail to do something? I want my stronghold. :(

Hmmm, the solamnic knights should be talking to you in a cut-scene type thing and then return to their little room. After that our spiffy contact Teos should be dimension dooring in ...

If this didnt happen and are all patched up, I cant think of nothing else but the fact that you chose the wrong dialogue-option. It is possible to turn down the stronghold .. are you sure you accepted it ?

No matter what,.. as I cant say -install the latest patch- .. I think its reload time [img]smile.gif[/img]

You talk to teos as soon as you re enter the planarsphere the screen gets taken ot of your control and he talks to you.
Maybe it is because
A) you dont have a magic license
or
B) you havent talked to the coweld wizard in the governmet district that sends you out on the hunt for valgar, which means you just found him on your own or you never talked to them after catching valgar even if you were gonna keep him to get nto the planr sphere you should still talk to them first.

Both of those shouldnt be a problem though ...

The magic license isnt related in any way .. with or without Teos will appear.
Slightly different dialogue, that's all.

And its also possible to get into the planar sphere without ever even talking to the cowles in the government district.

Actually, I took Tolgeiras up on his offer to slay Valygar. Then I met Valygar who changed my mind, even though I'm LN (hey, this *is* RP after all), and I returned and told Tolgeiras to pound sand. He said "I'll get you for this" etc. etc.

I had to kill Tolgeiras and a buddy on my way to reactivate the Sphere and make the last jump in fact.

So, did I just choose the wrong dialogue??? I buzzed through pretty fast. :(

Yea i know its possible to get in but it might not be possible to get the strong hold quest.

Did u get the heart from the demon im not sure but that cold have something to do with it i never got to finish the stronghold cause my game got erased!!

It probably doesnt have anthingt do with it though.

I finished the Sphere. YOu can't finish without the T'anari heart, as it's needed to power up the power core. All of which I've done.

yes,but im talking about finishing the stronghold quests not the sphere everyones finished that.

BUt then you would have to use it and it leaves your back pack so i just make no sense at all. BUt what happened to me was i ended up facing the demon about 5 times cause my game was bugged. so i had many heats my bad a forgot about that.

<font color=white>You cannot take Lavok out-side untill you have done all the Quests in the Planar Sphere, you need the Tanar'ri's heart for fuel (the planar sphere engine). So that has nothing to do with the bug that Timber Loftis is getting. </font>

<font color=white>In the planar world you enter when the Planar Sphere is travelling (hell like world), you encounter not one Tanar'ri but several Demon Deity's.

Your game is not bugged, it is normal that there are several Demons in the planar world.

The WeiDU Improved Items mod. uses the hearts you can get from all those Demons to make powerfull weapons out of it. </font>

<font color=white> Tanar'ri's are a Demon Deity... there are several kind of Demon Deity's like Balors and Mariliths.

IIRC, there are Tana'ri's and Balors in the Planar world. </font>

he ended the sphere part its his, he took lavok outside, and lavok gave the sphere to him.
it aint about any dialog.

then when he returns to his newly aquired sphere he should meet up with the cowled wizard teos. and the solamnic knights will ''THANK YOU OH MIGHTY HOLDER OF THE SPHERE'' and blah.
etc etc, from what i gather this hasnt happened . so hes experiencing a bug.
i have no ideas how to fix this, im not fammiliar w/ all the mods outthere.

exept for asking if he has the official patch and baldur fixpack installed (in that order)

So you're saying it's NOT a dialogue problem?? Because I can reload and re-do the dialogue with Lavok no problem.

For my information: is it true that I can get better items if I reload and go kill more than one demon?? Because I only axed one up, not really seeing the need to go traipsing all about the planes on a killing spree.

Just so I know: where can I meet this Teos character (inside the sphere if I succeed I mean)??

[edit]Oh, I have official patches, baldurdash, ease-of-use (only a few like item stacking and rings add to any armor), and all strongholds. That's all, I think. My game is ToB (properly patched, of course).

About the Demon hearts, if have the Improved Item Mod. (WeiDU) you can use demon hearts to upgrade surtain Items.

When you enter the Planar Sphere after talking to Lavok Teos will Dimension door in IIRC, when you walk in the first room of the Planar Sphere he will initiate dialog with you... this should trigger the Mage Stronghold Quests... </font>

On a more advanced note: what global variables could be screwy? If anyone knows, I'll use Shadowkeeper to check em and fix em.

Final question. What's the global variable regarding the strongholds? Cause if it's a bug in the "all strongholds" mod, I could, IIRC, edit it to say I don't have a stronghold yet (when in fact I have two, maybe three, dunno, I tried to say no to the ranger cabin, but we'll see).

<font color=white>I found the CLUAConsole command to CLUA Teos in the game for you...

CLUAConsole:CreateCreature("MGTEOS01")

This should do the trick... enter the Planar Sphere and use the Console to CLUA Teos in the game, then he will start the dialog with you.

Also you could use SK to set ''METTEOS'' to 1... this should also do the trick.

THE FIX = Re-Install "all strongholds" patch. Thanks to all who helped.

Well, I walked right in after saving/killing Lavok and Teos was there. He told me they'd need my help from time-to-time, then left. (I was a bit rude but didn't refuse).

Will the stronghold quest come my way now? I explored the sphere and found nothing else. Except that the Knights need help - which I'm in the middle of doing (9000 GP is a lot).

Don't I get minions at some point? I've always wanted minions.

ain nothin wrong w/ that man.... i was jus pointin out he finished the sphere part of the quest,as he clearly stated... so people could stop endlessly asking him if he found the heart , killed the tanari , killed the demon or went to the hell dimension.
as he obviously did that.
