I love fighting dragons and Kobold

vampires, sure domination can be annoying but c'mon. they certainly have more intersting special abilties than most monsters, and one of my favorite sessions involved a kensai of mine slaughtering them pretty much single handed, he just made stops at my clerics to get negitive plane and chaotic commands and waded through thier ranks. CF and DoE are wonderful weapons

There's a lot of fireworks during the fights, and there's a number of ways you can go about wasting them, because they're not too overpowering.

Plus I like their sick dance moves

Skilled, mixed, smart and equipped high level (with respect to my party) enemy parties. Perhaps it is because my appreciation for tactical combat challenges is so high, but i always find Mencar, Tanor, Koshi, Samia, Drizzt, Shangalar and their respective comrades to be the most enjoyable non-weimer battles in the game.

BG2 is really a great hybrid between a CRPG and a tactical simulator... But i'll save that for an other topic. ;)

• Illithids (Mind Flyers), Come on they are a pain but, hell I think it is the most feared creature in the game. They can take on Arkanis Gath and Malchor Harpell single handed :D</font>
• Dragons, They just look so great and are tough if you do not add some cheese</font>
• Liches, they don't look that fearsome compared with other picture's I have seen of them in AD&D books Ect., but they are able to give you a nice fight and they do that creepy walk of them (I really like there movement, sick indeed Mahlennacht ;) )</font>
• Drow War Parties, they are excellent magic users and they look great IMHO.</font>

Fighting anything with a fast regeneratoin rate is always fun. And liches are pretty cool to fight.

I like taking down goblins and dragons. Goblins, just because they're so easy to take, and dragons because of the challenge.

I like orcs, make me feel like I'm in a LOTR book...

I have to say I'm personally fond of anything that gives a particular class a good 'role playing aspect'. Like I love 1-on-1's with a paladin and a dragon... archers are fun against groups of small annoying things like goblins or anything they can pick off a dozen or so of before they reach him/her... melee fighters/barbs/monks are fun to toss in the middle of a huge group and just watch them wack away at everything... clerics are fun to pit against undead and the like, turn them and then chase 'em down and play 'wack a mole' in the graveyard as they pop up and down... Mages are awesome against groups of any sort, just to watch them all keel over as you stand there tossing one spell after another. I'm not too familiar with thiefs and druids so I can't say much about them... but that's my preferences. Some are easy battles, some aren't... but to me they're all amusing

Like in Sendais lair when youre fighting your way trough the slave tunnels, or when fighting yaga shura and his army. Or in the Oasis.. Huge battles like that is a llot of fun [img]smile.gif[/img]

yeah fighting armies is fun, keep chucking the fireballs...

Enemy parties are the most fun. Mencar, Tarnor, Cpt Dennis, Imp Ilyich and so on.

and since im a mage myself, i always love meeting up with a highpowered mage(also in respect to my current party offcourse)
and engage magical combat ...

i like vampires, they can give a good fight. also, the drow. MAN, when i see a drow war party, and i see all those spells going off at once, i just get so happy haha i know its gonna be a good battle. it seems almost all drow use magic, but are highly resisant to it, which makes it all the more fun.. except when they start summoning nishruus...

Mages... well protected mages are a challenge. They put the best puzzles in front of you. And of course Dragons as well.

How come you all like killing dragons?
I prefer bashing dwarves.
