Is Belm the best scimitar you can find in this game?

I like it. Jaheira carried it until ToB. Low "pluses" but the +1 Attack is great. I even favored over a +3 and +4 scimitar that turned up later (ToB). Until the +4 became necessary, that is.

Yes. There are scimtars with higher enchantments though, but none of them are in the end better than Belm.

If you have the Item Upgrae Mod you can Upgrade certian Scimttair on +4 weapon and also does poison damage.

There are always Drizzt his Scimitars Twinkle (+5, AC bonus 2) and Frostband (+3), that can be ''captured'' in chapter 6, the only miss fortune for the greedy people here... you can't keep them (due to wrath of Melchor Harpell).

Unless you install a surtain WeiDu mod [img]smile.gif[/img] .

Why is that? You just can't catch a break in this game and when you do, someone smashes it :D
But, I did have a few... unusual problems with Drizzt. Talked to Drizzt, got Valen back, went to Athkatla, and he wasn't even there to help me fight the vamps... the bastard. Oh well...

But back to the subject! Get Water's Talon, absolute best scimitar in the game when dualed with Infectious Scimitar. Irenicus and Yaga-Shura dropped no time flat.

Don't know about those probs you get with Drizzt... (probaly a bug created when installing a mod (don't ask me witch one though [img]smile.gif[/img] )

Yea pretty much. Save vs. D...eath I think or become infected with disease. I never found it, well I did skimming through ShadowKeeper. But I never did find it in TDD or SoA, so I put it on a beefed up version of an Elite Yaunti with the script of a Tomb Guardian, and that was no easy fight :D
(Along with 3-4 Yaunti Mages and 4 Yaunti Elite, no it wasn't)

you can allways use SK to import in drizzt's scimatars :D if you dont mind cheating that is

uh... is it just me or is Gangrell totally contradicting himself ?
did you find the sword or not ? you say you cant find it, but you used it twice, and gave it to some creature... sorry, I dont understand

If you did find it, where can *I* find it ? I have both ToB and TDD...

How am I contradicting myself? I'm saying I never FOUND the sword in the game, but I did in ShadowKeeper. So I took the sword *scimitar* and gave it to a beefed up creature and just don't flat out give it to myself, see? That's how I abtained it, with a little bit of CHEESE on top.

If you are a dual-wielding thief or bard class, and you have ToB installed, the Scarlet Ninja-to is better than Belm once you get your Use Any Item HLA. It also gives you +1 APR but it's a +3 weapon which also does poison damage.
