In your opinion, what is the most challenging & interesting quest in SoA? Or, let´s just say THE BEST. Mods are counted, naturally..

I say the Guild War. Lots to do and it´s challenging & believeable. Others I can think of.. Planar Sphere was excellent, had great story behind it.

DeArnise keep made a good journey too, although TorGal could have been tougher.

The award of most annoying guest goes to either Irenicus Dungeon or Trademeet.

i love shadelord, especially the ambush right before you go in, and especially if you have a cleric (preferably lawful) of lvl 13+. mmm, you get to chunk 50 or so shades and shadows without lifting a finger.

Irenicus dungeon with the Improved Ilyich mod gets my vote. Nothing, maybe with the exception of the Improved Irenicus final encounter, leaves you with a greater feeling of satisfaction when you finally manage to finish it [img]smile.gif[/img]

Never been a fan of of any quest related to Brynnlaw or Spellhold though. Chapter 4 is the by far worst part of the game.

just a joke... my favourite quest (TDD) would be:

To kill a surtain creature in the dephts of Nine hells, some uberbeing that will lead to a massive Quest (slaying a Banshee, Demon lord, 3 Dragons, Bunch of Drow Ect Ect) just a overwhelming Quest... for 10 level partys this is Ultimate hell.... 4 sho [img]graemlins/crazyeyes.gif[/img]

Oooooooh, quest. The underdark. *is aware of laughter* No seriously, I love it!

windspear hills. get ambushed, accidently(maybe you would have killed them anyway but o well) kill a bunch of paladins. take out a raiding party. work your way through an intresting but small duengon. and tada a dragon. not a pretty sight if your low enough level. but a glorious challenge at the right level

i freakin hate the druid grove quest..... disgusting. i can never find the damn grove n end up walkin around for 6 hours using up all my haste..

I guess my favorite was in the end in Saldunesular (pardon the spelling), you know, fight all the monsters and put your skills to the test is what I like.

The Underdark and the Drow city....

afterall, how often do you get to spend a hot sweaty night witha drow princess!

Let's just say, Chapter 5 and Chapter 6 are both good. I like the quests in both of them....

My top 3 list:

1. Thieves guild
2. Underdark
3. Planar sphere

The only one that i don´t really like is the Mindflayer City. That place gives me the creeps.

The other Dutchies around here (including me) have something in common as well... We think you're both really weird. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Anything involving mind-flayers. It gives more of a challenge. Ang the improved irenicus mod, the one with the dragon, beholder, sword and other guys. That was fun with a level 21 sorceror. Tine stop and cloudkill were great friends then.

P.s whats everyones fav or most used spell?? just wondered. fav is ?summon dead? combined with haste, most uesd is mirror image.

the thing im really strugglin with this game tho, is the beholder city, go figure...even when my mage hit level 17(xp cap) i struggled,

even with the cloak of mirroring!(they kept stoning me, n when i did spellimmunity i got stunned) there i went summoning a legion of summons ...im feelin all big n mighty here then poof i see about 10 spirits goin upwards (summoned 10 fire elementalks from the staff .no 5 limit) even when i deathwarded all 10 of my summons they went just as fast.
but im goin off topic here,,,,,,

I 2 really hate the [img]graemlins/monster10.gif[/img] lair, even with my Duergar warrior with cloak of mirroring... a eldar beholder managized to send my little dwarven warrior to a small planar sphere far beneath the earth [img]graemlins/awcrap.gif[/img] ... *sight* that just made me so angry ... stormed in with my sorc. and blasted him in tiny little beholder pieces... bad luck I didn't got a freedom scroll with me... and with my pure hatred against all the species that live in Underdark I smackt the hell out of those duergar sails men with there black market goodies ( see it as a revenge that MY duergar warrior had to leave the place... exiled and al [img]graemlins/1pissed.gif[/img] ... after all the quests in the underdark... the main village didn't survive my taste for revenge... real real sad though )
