It's giving me fits. Been trying over and over now, to no avail.

Soloed a few other classes, never had this sort of trouble.

This is the second fight with Bhodi by the way.

Before, I have always had the Improved Mace of Disruption. Fight was over pretty quick. However, Druids can't use this. Heck, even Kangaxx was an easier fight then this, heck, even with out the mace my Druid took him down rather quickly. (Oil of Speed, Staff of Rhynn, Ring of the Ram.)

This is driving me batty. Bhodi just rips me and what ever I summon apart, I stopped using Nature's Beauty because it seems to cause to many problems. It's bugged to all hell I think. Trying to use it on Bhodi makes the game crash with some sort of programmers fault error of some sort. Doom and Chromatic Orb some times does some damage, but, fails to kill her. (Finger of Death effect) She can't level drain me, but, she rips my Ironskins off in seconds and kills me but a few seconds later. She rips my Fire Elementals to pieces in mere seconds. My Nymphs don't stand a chance. Tried using all sorts of weapons, staves, The Impaler, Firetooth, everything seems to bounce right off of her. Even a stocky Earth Elemental falls far to quickly. Tried Earthquake. That just gives her a tickle. Tried Harm. I can't seem to score a hit when I do.

Argh it's driving me crazy, first fight I just can't seem to win really.

Just plain vanilla SoA BTW, no mods, no changes, no nothing but the stock game and official patches, I use a Mac so I can't use the exe files for a lot of the other stuff out there.

Buy a protection from undead scroll.

Problem solved.

Tried that. I whacked on her for a long long long time with out being able to kill her. IIRC, she has a speach to make before she dies and the PfU scroll prevents this from happening. So that's out too.

Just wait till the effect is gone.

ok, i would say the best way, in theorie, would be

let her have her speech. when they all turn hostile, gulp down a potion of invisibility, go to the corridor so they cant see you, cast the protection scroll and go kill the vamps. the only flaw i can think of would be if the undead suckers see through invisibility.

EDIT: just came to think about it. did you mean with the speech part that she needs to have speech right before she dies, or before turning hostile. if the first one, then you just wait for the effect of the scroll to wear out, like posted above.

I did. Once it wore off, she was permanately stuck on near death with out ever actually dying and she did not do anything other then flat out kill me. I could not damage her at this point.

Anywho, enough with the PfU stuff, been there, done that, believe me, I already went with the easiest route first. Now, I need alternatives.

sounds like you may have a bug. i remember having a bug with someone in underdark(dont recall with who though) that he/she went to near death but not beyond that. IIRC, i restarted the game 'cause the official patch didnt work(must have been someone important).

Cant really remember the unmodded bodhi, but just a few tips:
-forget the thieves'help
-forget the radiant hart's help
- Drizzt killed the normal Bodhi singlehanded in my game, ask him to help
- Get some holy water and "spike" the bloodpool in the middle of the room.
Damages her, makes her stop for a sec., she loses some strenght and her regeneration is cut down some.

What level are you ?

I am level 14, the maximum a Druid can get in SoA.

I have all of the best equipment, pretty much, that a Druid can get.

I have spiked every pool of blood that offers to let me dump holy water in it.

I think somehow that my casting of Nature's Beauty has somehow bugged or corrupted the game file perhaps. I dunno. It's a real pain in the rear. Through out the whole game, Nature's Beauty has done nothing but cause problems.

I think it is time to hang it up for my Avenger. Bhodi does not want to die. No matter my efforts. If I use a PfU scroll, it screws stuff up. If I use Nature's Beauty to score an Instakill, the game crashes with some cryptic error. All of my other efforts prove futile. Sigh. To come all this way only to be halted by what seems to be bugs.

This really bugs me. Heck. I mean, my Avenger was able to purge the entire underdark, kill every Drow in the city to purge their taint and make them pay for attacking the surface Elves and corrupting nature. Dragons, huge mobs, dangerous mages, to come all this way only to be halted by something this damned stupid.

ARGH!

Edit. About Drizzit. I never asked for his help. My Avenger works alone. I don't think I can go back and get his help, so, I don't think that is an option either.

Could you not ask the shadow thieves for a hand at all? Might be some use...

Use Daans option with the holy water and stakes, that worked for me.

By God I got it! First, put a haste potion in yer system then, shapeshift to a Spider! You posion her, then run away! Mwhahahahah.

Ok, so it's lame, but your desperate right?

I tried all my various shape shifts. Even tried webbing her down with a ton of webs, she seems to make her save every time. She can outrun me, even while hasted, and, she can kill my spider form in about 3 or 4 hits once my Ironskins get pasted.

It has been a lot of fun actually, I tried pretty much everything under creation, but, there is something wrong I think. No matter what I do, even if I survive her assaults long enough to get her down to near death, she gets stuck there and takes no further damage. Something is clearly bugged or corrupted.

I just gave up and called it a day [img]tongue.gif[/img]

BTW, no control Y. I will not enable cheats [img]smile.gif[/img]

Butters, just out of curiousity, what are your stats?

Imported from BG1, there were no penalties for my Avenger.

Str 11.
Dex. 18. (Was 19 till I had to give up a point)
Con 16.
Int 15.
Wis 20.
Chr 16.

I am going to tell you what many a soloer discovered greatly beneficial in the fight against "Usual" Bodhi.

Potions of Invisibility.

i doubt a thief like thats any use against a vampire of her power. hed serve as a decoy at the most.

you could fight her to like near death(again) and then ctrl y her. its not fair that youre gaming stops at a bug. so if the game "cheats", why cant you?
