I am an Aerial Driud(The Darkes Day Druid) and i don´t know hwo should be in my party.Now if Dragons are regenerating,and Kangaxx is thouger and so on I was thinking like this:
Me-Aerial Druid
Edwin-for Fireworks
Kivan-the best Archer(except Legolas is better,hehe)
Jan-for Traps
Viconia-Healing is what you need if you have Tactics Mod

I am opend for suggestions!!!

Healing potions (both Large and Superior ones) are very plentiful in the Tactics Mod due to all the random encounters and improved enemies who seem to have entire drug stores in their back packs. Hence, you wont need a cleric for "healing", though Viconia does have other, and more important uses, like combat boosting party spells.

I'd take Jaheira since she's both a potentially awesome tank/fighter (Iron Skins and good AC potentials) and a decent cleric who has the most important party buffing spells.

The one party game I've ever played in BG2 was with the Tactics Mod on Insane, that game is currently on hold in the beginning of ToB because of my more urgent solo projects Anyway, I'd say it was a very potent party and I really only had problems vs Improved Irenicus and Improved Demogorgon (beat Irenicus with my party intact after four hours). Didn't have to skip any area and only had to resort to somewhat cheesy tactics on one or two occasions

Thomas (My own Human Archer)
Minsc
Jaheira
Keldorn
Valygar
Imoen

Update: On second thought, Jaheira might not really be necessary in a party containing both a Druid and a Cleric

Your party seems to lack potent melee fighters. Minsc is an excellent warrior (had 34% of the total kills in my party). I had him wielding Foebane +5 and The Sentinel which made him a good tank (decent AC and constantly regains heaps of life).

Hmmm, the other way around is actually far better. Healing potions are both far more effective and reliable than a cleric in the heat of battle. Clerics are so slow that whoever needed healing will probably be dead before she can finish her spell, and she will also run a great risk of being interrupted or even killed when she moves in to heal.

That really depends on if you like classic combat more than spell casting. I know I do, that's why I had 4 blood-thirsty melee warriors and one ranged machine gun with only the weak Imoen for casting a few support spells here and there
Anyway, I'd choose a strong melee fighter character since that is precisely what your party lacks.

<font color="gold">Well, if you're gonna have both Korgan and Aerie, be sure to have the Happy Group Script, as they don't work together. ;) </font>

I am now playing with a Conjurer-great mage

Now to the party:
Me(Conjurer)
Korgan
Jaheria(Insect Plague isan Excelent spell for Batteling Mages)
Viconia(Healing is a must with this mod)
Kivan(the best archer)

</font>

I still think you can easily get by with just one Cleric or Druid. Personally I'd replace Viconia with Minsc, but I'm sure that party is quite capable as well

I agree with Rataxes - the sheer number of healing potions that comes with the Improved Random Encounters makes having a Cleric for healing purposes even more useless than it was before.

Mages and fighter types, who ruled BG2 before this mod, are now even more dominant. Having a Druid is still a good idea - if only for the summons, insect spells and the ever-cheesy Nature's Beauty.

I can give you some suggestions for parties (although i'm not familiar with the various TDD kits), but you'll need to give me more info. How many members? Good aligned? Evil aligned? Balanced? Give some basic guidelines and i'll see if i can come up with something.

Hmmmm... Assuming you have ToB, here is a party i 'built' for SpongeBobTheDestroyer about a month ago in the ToB forum:
</font>
 • Protagonist, a Ranger/Cleric (Multiclass)</font>
 • Solaufein - a Fighter/Mage (Multiclass)</font>
 • Bilbo, a Halfling Fighter/Thief (Multiclass)</font>
 • Magna, an Elven Sorceress</font>
 • Taurus, a Human Monk</font>
 • 6th slot for your favorite NPC.</font>
Plenty of bashing force? Check.
Druidic spells? Check.
Clerical coverage? Check.
Arcane master? Check.
Required thievery skills? Check.
A space for your favorite NPC? Check.
Style? Check.
What do you think?
Do you want a weapons setup, too?

Xen 01-01-2003 02:26 PM

<font color="yellow">
I would appriciate.

One question - do you have the Item Upgrade mod?

Xen 01-02-2003 09:59 AM

<font color="yellow">

Yes i have

</font>

Alson 01-02-2003 11:23 AM

Well... How about:

</font>
 • Ranger/Cleric - dual wield Flail of Ages +3 and Fulcrum +4. Don't let the lack of shield prevent you from tanking - Ironskins are mighty.</font>
 • Fighter/Mage - dual wield Celstial Fury +3/+5 and Sanchuudoku +4. Again, you can easily tank with him while Stoneskinned. PfMW will also serve you well.</font>
 • Fighter/Thief - dual wield Quietus +4 and Kundane +2. Backstab repeatedly. :D</font>
The Sorcerer and the Monk don't need weapons - they hold their power in their mind and fists respectively.
What do you think?

Xen 01-02-2003 01:12 PM

<font color="yellow">

Good idea(s).I have soloed with a F/T before-quite cheesy.I made a Sorcerer.But i´ve read that Ranger/Cleric is VERY Powerful.Any more ideas?
