If it were, could a movie be a good one unlike many flops based on games/comics?

It would be too long. They would need several movies which would cause a waning of interest.

personally i think they would do pretty cheesy and it would just degrade the whole fantasy genre

There would have to be more interest from masses to Forgotten Realms, like Lord of the Rings has.

Then it could work, and I would be the first one to see it.

TV Program? Hmmm. Not sure. It would have to flow really well, and it couldn't move too quickly. I don't know, but I don't think it would work.

A tv mini_series maybe? Covering the whole saga in a few episodes. That wouldn't be so bad I don't think.
