How do I play a game with 2 created characters. Like, i'd like to have 2 PC and 4 NPC. How do I achive such thing???

Select multiplayer
Name the game
Start a new game
Select the 1st postion and create a charactor
select the second slot and create a charactor
Click on the checkmarks next to each charactor
Then start the game

When i click on multiplayer... what do i select??? Serial or IP or... what?

Thank you... do i have to be connected to the internet??? to start the game. becasue the last time i tried, i was not able to check the tick boxes next to the names.

Take heed that you can improve the gameplay by transferring the save game folder from the "mpsave" folder to the "save" folder. Thus you play with your multiple custom NPCs in singleplayer mode.

Right click on Baldur's Gate 2 and select "properties" then select "find target". All the Baldur's Gate files will appear now look for the "mpsave" folder and open it. Right click on the desired save game and Copy the save game, now open up the "save" folder and paste the save game file into the "save" folder. Now when you load a single player game you'll be able to load that file.

When I created an entire party through multiplayer and started playing single player, I had one bug. Even with the lantern lit, the characters won't attack enemies unless specifically clicked on and told to. After they kill that enemy they sit there and wait for further instructions, instead of attacking the nearest enemy. Anyone else run into this.

Did you select a script for them?In the character info screen, customize. Otherwise they act like mindless automatons and dont do anything except follow orders.

I like it that way though.

I like it that way also. With the Lantern turned on when ever my thief is hiding in shadows she quickly tries to attack the nearest enemy. That ruins my plan and i do not like such actions.

So i suggest and advice that people play while the lantern is turned off.

You can edit the script that you use through the Customize button. Some of them are OK, such as the find traps for the thief. It just saves you the effort of having to click that button in between fights =)
