Do u need some sort of softwear or cheat to crtl-q Dritz and so one or can it be done without any thing special?i know i got alot of questions
- - - - - - - - - spoiler?? |
To crtl-Q Drizzt: goto your BG2 folder, find baldur.ini and add Debug Mode=1 under [Program Options]. Like so :
[Program Options] Debug Mode=1 Installing=0 Install Type=3 Happy crtl-Q'ing! |
[Program Options]
Debug Mode=1 Installing=0 Install Type=2 And I still can't CLUA. WTH? *sigh* i hate w2k. |
i can never find the ini. is it in my computer and then directly in baldursgate or do i have to go further?
|
Okay:
My computer (Drive you installed BG in, in my case E drive, but usually C) Shadows of Amn Baldur.ini (icon looks like a text document tinted yellow) |
Dar'tanian:
My Computer\c:\Program Files\Black Isle\BG2 - SoA\Baldur.ini Naturally, path may be different. Quote:
Make sure you have saved .ini file; restarted the game; pressed ctrl+space. |
So i cant open the consule and use cheats in a previous game i am playing?
|
Yes, you can.
|
k getting a little mad i still cant find the ini im in the file and got all the way to bg2_soa, but the ini isnt in there! is it cause i have tob installed?
|
NO! It should be there unless you deleted it at which point the game won't run!
|
This is the exact default directory for it.
C:\Program Files\Black Isle\BGII - SoA\baldur.ini The only thing I can think of is somehow you told it to be a hidden file. But I really can't think about how you'd do that unintentionally. |
The game still runs fne but it aint there. Maybe i did delete it but that doesnt seem possible. maybe thats why i cant run soa without putting in tob and going to soa or is that normal?
|
Yes, it's normal. It tells you once you install ToB SoA is dependant on it.
|
Are there other .ini files in your BG2 folder? There should be four:
Autorun.ini baldur.ini Keymap.ini Mplaynow.ini If there is none, go to Tools->Folder Options->View->Check the option to show hidden files on (this path is not exactly the same on different OSes). |
Actually, once I put "Cheats=1" under Game Options!
But it still allowed me to CLUAConsole but not CTRL-Q! Did you know it still works if you put it in a different area? (You do now! ;) ) |
I always put both lines in both areas :D :D :D . Always works.
|
Why don't you just do a search for baldur.ini ? The one you find in your BG2 folder is the right one ;)
|
There are the others you mntioned but d they say ini nextto them or not
