Yet another dem in hot water

Senate candidate Alvin Greene indicted on obscenity charges
The South Carolina Democrat faces a felony and a misdemeanor in an incident involving a college freshman. The Democratic Party has asked him to withdraw from the race.

Guess they could not get it covered up quick enough, or prolong it until elected.

That was pending even before he won the primary.

Actually, this guy was suspected to be a plant by the republican party. He is so dense and dimwitted that nobody really understood how he was nominated. I remember hearing an interview with him and feeling like I was listening to Sarah Palin all over again. Plant or not, he comes off as mildly retarded or at the very least, slow. Good riddance.

Thank GOD the dems are back to their old tricks. I much prefer the philandering dems to the tax evading campaign finance rule breaking ones.

It's still astounding that the SC damnocrats voted for someone so obviously unqualified. Maybe there should be a test for voting priviledges. (this should stir things up around here!)

I would just like them to demand proof of citizenship to vote.

Put him next to ol' Hank, and presto, you've got a stellar squad!

It goes to show that corruption can be obtained unilaterally through bipartisanship.

Currently:
3:1 in the senate D: R.

And 7:5 in the house, R: D.

OR

8 (D) and 8 (R) Which makes a simple 50/50 split of political party corruption.

Re: Yet another dem in hot water

Plus the 9 former members (all R's btw). But I do agree - corruption transcends party lines.

Only problem with such information, is that it doesn't count those that are getting away with it.

Re: Yet another dem in hot water

That would be most of them unfortunately.

Ah, but you will note some members, such as R. Burris of IL, are under investigation not as the "target" of an investigation but as a source of information regarding another investigation (in Burris' case it is associated with former Gov. Blago of IL). Note also that the list does not account for state governors who are under investigation.

But, all in all, MH has it right in saying it transcends party lines. Greed, apparently, is a universal human affliction.

I concur, but also noted that Stevens from Alaska is still on the list, who has been voted out, had all charges dropped, and is currently deceased.
