The more things change....

Wow...

Okay I used to be signed up to this forum for about 3-4 years under a different name. I won't say what my username was then (PM if you really want to know), but suffice it to say it was a good few years ago now and I tended towards the immature at times, so i dont want that to influence my time here again.

But things change and as it stands in the time I have been away, I have moved country, changed jobs, gotten married and only 4 months ago had my first baby boy. Didnt see that coming....

But I always remember enjoying these forums so much I thought I would see how things were going again, and I have to say although of course things have changed with times as they do it still seems like the same Ironworks and I am surprised at the number of names I still recognise even after my extended break!

So Hi all, and I am sure I will get to re-know all of you again. :)

Welcome back to the forums! Congrats on the baby boy!
I too am glad IW is a place worth coming back to and that we still have that friendly appeal. Albeit things are not as fast-paced as they once were, but it'll pick up.

Thanks Larry, Htyrant. Remember both of you from previous days. In fact Larry I think you had just had a baby (girl?) I think last time I was here, although it was awhile ago.

I suspect Sever is fairly confident in his knowledge.

welcome back, CrimsonLion, whoever you used to be. We all mature eventually, though, I'm still wondering when it'll be my turn. :D

Hmmm, both colored animals, you could be on to something. Though he could have anticipated such a line of thought and used it to throw us off.

Ages match though. http://www.ironworksforum.com/forum/member.php?u=1051

Maybe my memory is shot but I can't remember if that guy could even make a coherent sentence?

I think it is slightly entertaining, although mainly cringingly embarrassing when I go back and re-read all of my old posts. Man oh man did they blatantly give away the fact that I was arguably far too young to be on a forum. When I see my atrocious spelling, rudely inappropriate comments, and general mannerisms, it really provides insight as to how immature children and teens are (I can say that as of late November, I'm no longer a teenager :D )

FWIW, I do remember you AzureWolf.

And LennonCook, man I have a negative connotation to the name, but I don't remember what exactly he did or why. I have to do some digging. Who was the poster that created the imitation Cloudy's Cafe with X rated features?

I still laugh when I read my post about the encounter with the black dragon in Sulduneslar(sp?) in BG2. :D

Heheh, I doubt it, Lennon was certainly not that kind of person, I think Life just took over for him, he's off at Uni as far as I know.

Not sure exactly why he stopped posting.

I know what you mean about reading your own posts from way back when. I had a bit of a flick through yesterday and almost cringed reading some of that stuff!

Do remember your name as well SecretMaster, its kind of scary the amount of people that are still around from when I left!

I only remembered the name when LoA mentioned him before, but I kind of remember a cross of funny/annoying. But maybe that was someone else, could describe a lot of us back then.

Yeah he was a little stubborn at times, but yes, I think we all liked to troll and flame a little bit back in the day :D

Now that you mention it I do remember something about his name being changed but not exactly what the deal was, was too long ago for my memory.

Living in Canberra eh?
So you are someone who enjoys the cold and no night life then :P

BTW I have no negative associations with that name so don't be shy about using it.
