WoW - anyone here killed Lich King yet? UPDATE: WE KILLED LICH KING!!
 

We're on our way there - 6/12 on both ICC 10 and 25 (Marrowgar, Lady Deathwhisper, Gunship, Saurfang, Festergut, Rotface). Trying for Blood Princes, Putricide and Valithria this week!

Nice progress there Mem!

My guild is 9/12 ICC10 and 7/12 ICC25. Some stupid jerk make us loose the 5% buff.

I might take a rest from the game. Gonna concentrate on Dragon Age: Origins.

Yea, we killed Fester before the 5% buff with about 5secs to go before berserk timer in 25. Then after the buff we killed him in 4:26. :D

Right now the hardest fight for us is Putricide - I think we should drop Blood Princes and Valithria this week at least. Just need to get the coordination right. We got Putricide down to 14% last night, damn!!

What's your toon called now Kak and what guild are you in? I'm still in Godz of War Sen'jin.

Well we killed Putricide and Blood Princes on 10 man last night woohoo! 8/12 now in 10!

No, I haven't got any decent dagger drops in months. I'm still rolling with the 245 Twin Spike and the 232 Unsharpened Ice Razor from FoS. I'm topping the dps meter with 10k dps raid buffed though woot! Not bad considering my GS is only 5600 or so. Beating the 2 other combat rogues better geared than me. I'm running ToGC on Thursday hoping that the Heroic Dirk of the Night Watch drops from Jaraxxus, who I have to kill for the weekly anyway.

My guild won't be doing any serious raid this week. Raid leader will be away to attend to his grandma funeral.

My highest dps is on festergud. 11k with mut. Can't wait to for the 30% buff to see how high I can go.

Btw, do you raid as mut or combat?

Mut. I have better combat weps but I do more damage as mut plus already 2 other combat rogues. Killed Rotface 25man got Rib Spreader woot! Wiped 6 times on Blood Princes tonite lol. Oh well.

I raid as both mut and combat. I will switch spec depend on which boss we are fighting.

I just got Rib Spreader off Rotface tonight too. haha!

On my server the number1 guild on the server, Kyl from the horde, killed the lich king a few weeks ago, on alliance side Fallen Legion came second. My guild is at 7/12 in ICC25, unfortunately it completely fell apart this week, and everyone had to go look for other guilds. :(

Yes, well the #1 guild on our server, Premonition, happens to be the #1 US guild and #10 in the world, so nobody's going to beat them. :( They killed LK a few weeks ago too in both 10 and 25 and are now 11/12 hardmode on both 10 and 25. As for us, we're now 9/12 in 10 man woot!

I can't wait to see more of ICC, unfortunately my break from WoW meant I was slightly left behind, and while I have done ToC and even ToGC, getting past sourfang (admittedly I haven't joined a PUG for a while) has been hard. Thanks to the buff system I should have a fighting chance of getting through to the king

Congrats dude, tbh I never had the time to play raids except for pugs and weekly raid quests. Taking a break for Wow now until cataclysm, but I always was dissapointed that I couldnt become involved with ICC because of lack of time to raid.

Does it actually feel suitably epic being the culmination of entire Northrend saga when running through the raid itself? I remember ToTC/VoA raids being fun but they were more like running a few large raid sized boss fights in quick succession.

Yes it does feel pretty epic, and they have more cutscene/roleplay stuff like what they have in Culling of Stratholme of the new instances, though most people just want to rush ahead to the raid boss killing stuff. Some of the encounters are more creative too, for one of them (Valithria) you have to heal her up to 100% instead of killing her.

The first wing is entirely puggable now by the way, esp. with the 10% buff to healing/dps etc everyone gets when they enter the instance.
