Here there is a new football(soccer) club opened. It is called ALFA and they are connected to Internazionale. Every year high bosses from Inter come to see young players. I am a good on the street and a good dribbler(Ronaldinho) and i was thinkling to go training there and if I am good enough I will maybe play for Inter one day...

I am very tempted...
What do you say?

The question is: why shouldn't you?

The deal is on!

Bungleau 09-26-2003 03:59 PM

Agreed. I'd rather say I tried and failed than to say that I never tried. Who knows what you can do?

Good luck!

Gangrell 09-26-2003 04:06 PM

Sounds like a great opportunity Xen, get on out there!

Go for it, it will be a fun experiance even if nothing comes of it! and if something does come of it, well

Just remember 5 years from now and you have just scored the winner for inter V arsenal in the euro final, post a little message to donut and davros on this board

johnny 09-26-2003 10:09 PM

If Inter shows interrest in you, it means that you don't have any technical, tactical, creative, and certainly no offensive capabilities. If that's what suits you best, go for it. :D

Zarr 09-27-2003 08:02 AM

Those who saw Inter play against Arsenal may disagree with your assessment Johnny

Melusine 09-27-2003 08:20 AM

I've a cousin who plays professionally, actually.

I am not sure why you are asking for our opinions here - are there any reasons why you DON'T want to do this? There's no guarantee you'll even be noticed, or that you're good enough, so if that time comes, you can decide about all that later. For now, if the only decision you need to make is whether you want to join this club, that shouldn't be to hard, right? If you can afford the contribution, if you like to play football, there's no reason why you shouldn't do it. If anything more comes from it, you'll decide about that if and when it happens. Ronaldo = Ronaldo Luis Nazario
Roberto Carlos = Roberto Carlos da Silva
Pele = Edson Arantes do Nascimento

Xen, I don't see any harm in going. However, you would have to be incredibly good to be picked, i.e. excellent control, skill, vision, speed, strength etc. I hate to sound negative here, but don't get your hopes up too much.

Good luck!

BTW:
Ronaldo=Luis Nazario De Lima Ronaldo

Ronaldinho=De Assis Moreira Ronaldinho Gaucho

Acutally his name is Ronaldo but Ronaldo called him Ronaldinho wich means "little Ronaldo" and the name stayed.

Just being nitpicky here, but it's Carpe Diem with an -e- and not Carpe Dium. And if you think you can make it you should try. If you don't think you can make it, you should still try

Mack_Attack 09-28-2003 07:33 PM

Well give it a go nothing wrong from trying. :D

Johnny how rude:D
