Okay, I've cleared out all the way through the ancient temple w/ all the Diseased Ones around, yet still find no rod anywhere! Anyone? please

Yes and wiped out some monster but didn't find the wand in the centr-piece....and thanks for the welcome!

Think on what the monster is.. It's not an actual demon, if you haven't noticed, it's an "Empathic Manifestation." Talk to the Diseased Ones. You cannot fight hatred with violence; the hate must be healed first. Rest a few days and wait for it to reform, then try again.

Defeating said monster should trigger the appearance of an entity who should pass you half of the rod, if you ask nicely. Oh... by the way, you did not kill the Dieased Ones did you?

No I haven't killed the Diseased, but when I did kill the first thing nothing else appeared...hmmmm. Thanks for the help

Well, have now rested six days and still no beast! AAhhhhhhhhh!!

<font color="gold">Hmm, if you killed the Empathic Manifestation with the spell 'Cure Light Wounds', and the avatar didnt appear, it must be some bug. Try this patch, or the Baldurdash fixpack. ;) </font>
