I've tweaked the caching, and turned on PHP for quicker loading--was TRYING to see if that would correct the dang PM timeouts. Nada. :(

That should change when I upgrade the Forum software in a week or so. I hope so.. I HATE that bug..

Anyway, let me know if you see any errors or if you notice a speed increase of page loading. I'd be interested on seeing if this helps speed up page loading for you guys.

Thanks!!

Yepp it seems to load a little faster. Not that much (I´m used to cable nowadays lol) but still. I had some trouble loading the background yesterday but that´s fixed now.

Meesa on a lowly dial-up, and it seems ot be loading a little faster. Maybe 25% - 40% faster. It's hard to tell, because my dial-up speed fluctuates quite a bit.

I just got that old 30-second CGI timeout again. I cleared it without copying it, but Ill post it if it comes up again.

Actually Ziroc I did NOT get the time out this time. I just sent a PM to Dk and it went smoother than ever. No time out, no smtp server thingy. I always got those errors earlier but not this time. Something you tweasked solved my problem.

<font color=white> Don't know if this has anything to do with it, but around 8:33 this morning (europe time), I got the same DNS error that I got 2 weeks ago, me not getting on IW for 2 days.

It wasn't able to enter IW for at least an hour, after that everything was fine.
Is this linked to the thing your now doing Ziroc? </font>

I don't see any difference. I still occasionally get the 30-second CGI timeout.

Z, just got the ol' "a href="http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=recent_user_posts;u=00011836" style="color: #E3B573; tex
Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\ironworksforum\ubb\noncgi\cache-ECQOC5PU\ubb_files\forums\Forum10\015104.cgi on line 1100" thing.

Ah! That was one I was kinda wondering if it would show up.. I'll make the delay '100' milliseconds, and see what happens.
