This is a flame-extinguisher thread.
This is also a plea to everybody to try to be civil towards each other.
This is a thread made because I like this place.
This is a thread that has alot of feelings of anger and sorrow I can´t write down,
I don´t want people to get banned, or to move away from this forum.
This is a thread that says" we can´t all love each other, but we can try to be civil and avoid unnecessary fights".
This is a thread that I have to read as well as you.
This is a thread that is trying to tell us all that we need to be extra careful towards each other.
This is also a thread that tries to say, sorry, please forgive me.
This is a thread that tries to tell you all to calm down, this is a thread that wants you to think one extra time of IW as a place for everybody.
This is a thread to try to take us back to the IW that we all care for. A place that is made by us all.

So if I have annoyed anyone, been senseless in any post. Don´t be angry, tell me why you got angry. And accept my "sorry".

So, go ahead and post, and try to fill in what I missed...

Right on!!! I don't think you missed a thing. When replying to a thread or an individual post, I always try to word my message as I would have it worded to me. I try to think, even if I am debating a point, how I would want to be responded to. Not with anger or sarcasm. Not in a way that would make me feel like the other person thought I was 'stupid' for what I feel. But with dignity and respect. With maturity.

Respect for others. It's the cornerstone of this forum. It's what defines us and makes us what we are. It's a precious thing and took a good many people many hours to build. Let's not disrespect their efforts by tearing it all down in a few days.

We *will* move forward from this! Keep positive and fight the good fight. http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no.../xyxthumbs.gif

http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no.../xyxthumbs.gif Good one Wolfie!! Thank you for your thoughtfulness!! You said what's needed saying all at once for some time. *HUGS* & a scritch friend. http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif

It seems oh so easy for some people to take offense at implied, unintended or even intended slights -- but so much more mature and enlightened to hold one's tongue (or fingers http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...miles/wink.gif) from responding to said 'slights'. Difficult, but worth the effort to help maintain Ironworks as the friendly, all-inclusive, FUN place it is.

Thank you Ziroc for creating IronWorks! Thank you to all moderators for being so dedicated and fair at doing what must be a time consuming and frustrating task. Thank you to all Ironworks members who have held their tongues & fingers at what felt like extreme provocation. Thank you Wolfie for making this thread.

If ever there was a thread that typified what Ironworks stands for and the spirit and feeling of togetherness we used to have, this is it. It's right from the heart. The humility in Wolfie's post above brought a tear to my eye (and I don't cry easily).

Wolfie, I am honored to have you as a friend, mate.
