*it was a hard rainy night when the worshipers of Aerie sat around a long table filled with food and wine. Avy sat with Etiernity gleeful and truly happy. Skye was there, happy after using the crystal hammer of Aerie to finish off her CD drive. Elif as usual tall and strong sat on the other end in his shining red dragon plate. Kazzy is busy moaning about her recently aquired flew. Waverider is happy eating away at endless hordes of regenerating cheese cake.

But the happy troope of ALSB were blissfully unaware of the journey they are about to undertake to the east... where an evil beyond reckoning has decided to return once more....*

occ: I shall act as both myself Avy, and as the Dungeon Master and the monsters and NPCs I spawn. Anyone is welcome to join the adventure as NPCs and as monsters or whatever. So long as you play as a minor plot and doesn't affect the main plot!
For the 1st few posts please read to get an idea of what's happening so you can join in....

P.S. Please Note! This has nothing to do with KFA. Those are welcome to join this adventure as foes or friends or neutrals but not as the KFA. [img]smile.gif[/img] Thank you

best for me to summon my [img]graemlins/wavey.gif[/img] 's

and [img]graemlins/thewave.gif[/img] so they can start working in the tempel once more

because the long inactivitie there lazy so they wont be doing mutch the

first few weaks ... :(

Chapter 1
</font><font color=gray>
The rain drops and the howling wind made it impossible even for the elves inside to hear a man approaching the temple...
The wooden doors slammed open as the dark wind blew out the candles around the dinner table, people gasped as a short figure cashed in and fell to the stone floors of the temple. he was dressed in a dark brown studded leather tunic with a horned iron helmet and an iron double axe clutched tightly in his other hand. But what was most striking was that there were at least 6 arrows embedded within him.

Elif immediatedly jumped up before all others and drew his flaming 2 handed sword guarding the doorway.
Avy was quick to cast invisibility on his love in case of an attack and moved at lightening speed towards the fallen body.

"black orc poison arrows" Avy looked at the arrows he once knew so very well.
Just as Avy was crouched over the body a volley of arrows whistled through the night. Avy was quick to react and casted holy intense fire shield which melted the arrows even before they reached him.

"Fools, you shall pay for this!" Elif swung his sword in a beserk rage and dashed at the seemingly invisible enemies of the night"

"may the light of Aerie shine on us all" cried Skye as she casted divine light out into the darkness..."

This revealed elite gargoyles with bows, something you don't often seen even for a seasoned adventurer. Avy was quick with his Elven Court longbow and plunged 2 arrows of piercing straight through the front leader.
Elif quickly wacked the head off the fallen leader and the rest fled out of dismay, but knowing their job is done....

Avy and Elif walked back soaked with rain and gaze down at the body of a dwarf. His beard long and white as Avy undid his battle leather, he found an amulet with a shield, a shield Avy knew from somewhere before....

"Skye!" you've just about read all our library books... what shield is this, which ancient house bears this shield.

The shield was indeed strange. It was red with 2 horns and a ring of fire around it. Then two axes and an oak shield are over the top of this.

Skye stumbled out of the Library carrying as many ancient texts as she can stumbing on the way... and bashing into Eternity (who was invisible)...
After the little fiasco, Avy flipped through all the records and non of them show the shield...

But is then that Avy remmebered where the shield was last seen. It was seen on a teleportation stone of power a long time ago and the stone was fragmented but the centre piece had most of the symbol...and a grave expression spead over Avy's face as he realizes what the ring of fire means....

<font color=skyblue> " Rest all now and we leave tomorrow. " All those who are willing to come must gather here at 0400 and we shall set of and no later! Any complaints and further enquiries were silented when Avy slammed the Library door behind him. And Elif went to bed with a grave heart.
Whilst Eternity went gently into the Library....
the rest prepared to bed, the candles were blown out and the wooden main door shut and locked...

It was then that without any warning or concent a light voice was heard echoing over the horizon. "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa-" it alled out quietly and from afar... it was quite evidently growing closer however... "aaaaaaaahhaaaaaaahhahahahaAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHA!! !" Everone saw an object descending from the air quickly, straight down, like a rock... and then through the glass roof...

It neared the ground in a flash, and was about 5 yards off of when it finally stopped screaming and began to cry out in a manic fasion "FEATHER FALL! FEATHER FALL!! ok... Ok... whew..." The figure acted as if his feet had been planted on solid ground though he was still descending from the air but at a much slower rate. When his boots touched the ground he looked up and saw the strangers looking at him. He had red hair with red eyes, the whites of his eyes appeared navy blue. his flesh was pale and seemed to have an odd feild eminating around it, he wasn't breahing heavily, or at all, and looked like a still image, his flowing red hair was also unnafected by his fall or the wind. He was like a moving still image... A Child of the Void, a planetouched freak of nature who'se being was as rare as his appearance. He also bored two large cat ears and a black tail which shot out from behind him, and waved to and fro. It too had an odd feild eminating from it. On his person he appeared to be holding a scythe and a bow, he also bore a black leather outfit with a red trim. He looked around at all of them...

"heheh" He rubbed the back of his head "That was quite the stunt i pulled there... heh... Just trying out these new boots" he pointed to a pair of boots which appeared to be made of several heavy metals, the second he pointed at them several vaulves opened up and released steam...

"I'm still trying to figure out how to land on my feet... say who might all of you people be? My names shino..." He extended a hand to greet them...
