I'm creating a new kit called the Demon Knight. I need suggestions on what kind of abilities to give them. Level drain is a definite. Infravision too. What else?

Fight a couple and you'll know.
Fireball, Confusion, Fear....blah IE will tell ya. |
Creatures can't level up. The deomn knights in the game would be too powerful to use at the beginning and too weak at the end. Besides, a playable character should unique of other characters, NPC's, and creatures in the game. I don't WANT this one to have the exact same abilities of the creature demon knights.
This is what I have: 100% Fire Resist 20% Magic Resist, 30% at LV 15, +10% every 5 LV's after that True Seeing (Detect Invisible) Infravision Immunity to Normal Weapons at LV 15, +1 weapons at LV 30, +2 weapons at LV 45 Regenerate 1 HP/round (6 secs) +30 Lore +1 Strength Level Drain 1 level per succesful hit (working on this one now) Demon Fire (Weaker Sunfire & Fire Shield Red with shorter duration at same time) -4 Charisma Only Human, Half-Elf, or Half-Orc Only Neutral or Chaotic Evil I still need a penalty or so to tone down this kit. the kit you've got there is so powerful you ought to have a disadvantage like not being able to healed by Magic, or unable to use potions and magic items or

Thanks, very helpful. It obviously came form the monstrous manual. Which edition? Is there a DEMON Knight listed, or just the DEATH Knight. There IS a difference. The Death Knight is, basically, an undead paladin/warrior. The Demon Knight is a hell spawn. Typically never existing as a mortal of Faerun.

Can't be healed by magic or potions is good. I think I'll use the magic one, but I'm not sure about potions. So, there are probably several ways to do this. Do you know the easiest? Protection from Spells is what I was thinking, but I'd have to enter each spell individually.

Have a custom portrait, and have a custom paper doll (if possible)

It uses the demon knight paper doll. As for a custom portrait, I use Darth Maul, but I think everyone will want to use their own portraits. I suggest one from the movie "Spawn".
