Like, did you see how much hit points your party gets when they get turned into boogres??? I would never have changed back if it wasn't for just two different pics and I allways mistook, when fighting, just who am I using to fight.

Boogres rule!

Oh, and if the spell fizzles from time to time, bah, so what, boogre rush attck, look no weapons!

Nah, seriously, my priest in the booger state had almost twice as many HP as my barbarian in normal state! Well, I would never have stayed booger anyway, however it isn't fair that you can't pick such a strong character in the beginning of the game...*ponders* I wonder if I only leave my samurai in that state, hmm...

LOL!!!!

Boogre Caves is one of the favorite places in this game for many of the players! Certainly was a fun adventure!! How'd you like the gauntlet??

What? Why not? It doesn't let you, Moni?

Wow...I never thought to take my "boogres" OUTSIDE the cave...my main goal was to get them unboogred ASAP (mainly because when I first played through, I thought I had a 24 hour time limit, LOL!)

Well, the boogres are slow. They does not seem to be able to use the 2nd weapon or, at least, they use the 2nd weapon really ineffectively. Also, the 100 HP are not so big advantage later in the game: high levels - lot of HP - lower significance of the 100 HP.
Therefore, boogreism gives you (perhaps) some advantage NOW but the disadvantages (sloth, failing spells, 2nd weapon) become apparent later. De-boogre ASAP!

Have you done the gaunlet with your ordinary characters.

Is there any where else you can get Boogerie Brew so you can up your stats more at the end of the gaunlet?

Sazerac 05-15-2001 09:16 AM

I have. (done it with ordinary characters).

No major difference, except you'll probably use healing spells a little more (but effectively!)

damn this boards are fast!

Radek, the way I see it, you get more HP when you become a booger, then accordingly, the HP icrease. or don't they? cus if they don't, then it sucks, but if they do, well then, my barbarian will become a boogre, if I have to go over the boogre, shurugeon castle and stout mines all over again!!!

Wyvern,.. mm forgot what guntlet I got there, so I can't really respond http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif

And damn it, they can't ride a horse! Maybe if the game had an elephant or something ...
