Good Morning Everyone!

.....ya know I started completely over when I lost my hard drive....have a party of 5 newbies, level 4. This time I am going to have them join all the guilds I can for rapid training......so I can make it out of the Eastern forest area as painlessly as possible (sh'yeah, right!) *grin* Why am I still enjoying this game???? It's a mystery to me....

Here is my question for all of you experts...: I seem to be having *ahem* mega money problems training or even JOINING any guilds....what would happen if I reinstalled an unpatched game and used my "patched" saved games? That way I could use the err...INN money trick. I heard you can't finish the game with the unpatched version? That you get stuck in a room in the pyramid?

You should be able to use your patched save games with an unpatched version, no problem! Friend of mine sent me her patched saved game and I bumped up her money using the INN/GOLD perk without any difficulties whatsoever!

And you CAN finish the game with the unpatched version. It has been done many, many times!!

It should work. Make sure you backup all your savegame files before you try it.

Tabbi - If you feel safer running the patched version - you could send me your saved game and I can make you filthy rich and send it back.
