OK, here i am in watchers keep, right about to turn the last key (the one wich summons the lichie thing and the flaming skulls) in the last seal on the fourth level, i've reloded two times, after some of my party members had died.

so now i am about to turn it a third time, and I do so. but this time, when the game goes in to "movie" mode the game stops after showing the white text. well it dosent stop but it stays in movie mode without summoning any enemies. as far as i know I'm fully patched. I have tried over end over but it still keeps doing this...

Anyone had this problem?

Maybe your CD is dirty? Try cleaning it. Don't clean in circular motions, instead, move outwards from the center.

no i don't think so, i keep all my cd's i use at the time as iso's (it's saves me the trouble of cd-swapping), i've tryed putting in the cd, but it still frezes.

Wait a minute, this sounds familiar, suddenly. It sounds like a problem I had when defeating a certain Bhaalspawn. Is this game 100% legit? Any custom chars, items, mods, anything at all tweaked?

other than that its just baldurdash and patches...

i would really like to solve this without having to reinstall.

but in the meantime i'm trying out a solo sorceress, thats quite fun!

Welcome to the most gratifying, satisfying, uber character there is! You'll have fun... The sorc is a taste of godhood.
It's especially gratifying to have the power so early to defy the Cowled Wizards... Mwa ha ha ha ha...

it's been nothing but good sofar! You have to think alot more when playing a non-brawler ;)
which makes it alot more intresting. And by soloing i've found that you go after some quest just to get a specific item and get more exited when you finally get it. you also have to go much further trying to replace the other fairly inportant charachters (like tanks, thiefs and priests).

but there is one thing i don't like, you can't pick the sorceress in bg1 which takes away alot of the roleplaying, i mostly play fighter-type charachters which i've imported from bg1.

the leader of my party in WK has been with me since candlekeep, and i really would like to get past that nasty bug! argg

ok for anyone experiensing something similar.
I solved this by going to my pocket plane (can't belive i diddent think of i sooner), when I got back the bug was gone.

Bjorn must be talking about a giant spider or something... A glitch in this game is simply beyond all imagining!
