Okay, I bought the Robe of Vecna and just got my first ninth level spell. I chose Improved alacrity for my ability and time stop for the spell. I've heard of getting to be able to use a ton of spells, but this is unreal.

With the autopause (end of round) on I cast Time Stop, followed by
Improved Alacrity. Then this:

Breach twice
minor sequencer
spell sequencer
abi horrid twice
flame arrow
melfs acid
magic missile five times
melfs acid twice more
flame arrow twice
and project image.

I still had time to cast a spell but I had run out of offensive spells. Is this right, are you supposed to be able to cast this many spells at once? I've heard of about nine, but this is unreal. If this is the case, I'm gonna breeze through solo.

Tis the case... Improved alacrity is great and is just like Dea'Raghs Aura Cleansing from Shadowkeeper. With it a mage/ sorceror is the easiest class in the game to play as.

What's Dea'Raghs Aura Cleansing from Shadowkeeper? Is it a much different spell? On a similar note, what does it mean where it says "Aura cleansed" when you cast Abi's Horrid?

Improved alacrity and Dea'Raghs do the same thing, they eliminate the magical residue that stops you from casting straight away after a spell. It says aura cleansed before any spell because thats just saying that it got rid of the residue. ;)

Here is what I usually use with Improved Alacricity and Robe of Vecna+Amulet of Power.

Dragon Breath

Aha. Thanks. So if I understand the both of the descriptions right. (In theory) I can fire off three sequencers and twenty-seven magic missiles. You get thirty seconds of free time. All of the above have casting times of 1. Right?

Lucre,
Where's your sig. Sazerac made? I thought it looked pretty cool.

Go back to Saz' post of your sig. Edit it. You can now see the properties. Copy them into your sig. profile...That's it. ;)

Note: Minor Spell Sequencer, Spell Sequencer and Spell Trigger, have fixed casting times. Robe of Vecna and/or Amulet of Power does not affect their casting time.

Wheeee, found the webpage I made to illustrate the power of the combo I just mentioned.
