Hey everyone. I'm ready to go to Brynnlaw, but I have an issue that keeps delaying me.
I have just returned Montaron to Xzar(?) and that chick came and took Jaheira away. That's just fine, but now I must enter the Harper's Hold building, but that damned door is always locked. I even brought Yoshi back to me party so I could unlock it, but he cannot. I don't got anything else to do except shipping to Brynnlaw, but I'm affraid Jaheira leaves the party cuz I didn't enter the Hold. So any advices?

The first chick who comes to pick up Jaheira (Meronia, IIRC) only brings her to the hold to talk with her. Just rest somewhere, and Jaheira should show up when you wake.

If that's already happened and she left again, then you do need to go in. What does it say when you try to pick the lock?

That it cannot be picklocked and that it may be warded aginst simple magic spells.

She brought Jahiera back, and you cannot enter the building? Two questions. Are you fully patched, is the romance active, and do you have a previous save?

Go back and talk to Rylock ( the guy out the front of the Harper Hold). Ask him to see inside and tell him because you always wanted to see a Harper. (this is a lot easier with Jaheira in the party as she is a Harper herself).He doesn't trust you, and to earn his trust you have to do a Quest for him(but of course). He wants you to get rid of a "vile" mage named Prebek, whose house is directly to the north. Agree to this. When you complete this he should let you inside.

after all that Jaheira get summoned to the harper hold, when she is back she asks me to go with her to the hold, but I cannot enter it

If you have done it all thry.

CLUA into the harper hold (not sure what the area code is for this)

OR

Enter the hold via the other entrance, the one that takes you straight to the area with the spectral harpers. I think its a door on the roof of the harper hold. (CTRL J your self there)

Skipping steps is a no-no when it comes to Jaheira's quest. ;)

List in detail, what has happened already.

Derfel, the first thing you should do is patch your game, because I've never heard of her quests getting stuck here before. The next thing you should do is grit your teeth and accept the fact that Jaheira's quests are buggy as hell and you <u>will not</u> be able to complete them. Just concentrate on completing enoug of them to keep her in the party--after a meeting with a man named Galvarey, you're pretty much assured Jaheira won't walk out on you, unless you say something stupid.
