Maybe not the best or the easiest, but the most fun to play. I have completed the game once and I have seen threads all over the place of people soloing this and people soloing that. What would you guys advise?

P.S - i went through first time as a normal paladin, so I dont want to really be thatagain.

EDIT) Or do you think I should play through it normally a few times more? I have completed TOB also.

Since you have ToB, doing a Wizard Slayer dualed to thief is great since it allows you to get 100% magic resistance, as well as take away the wizard slayer restrictions through a certain thief ability. I've never tried a kensai, but I've heard a Kensai dualed to a Mage makes an ubber killing machine ;)

Solo Archer.

You WILL learn the art of survival or die trying.

Hi guys, just started playing BG2 again, I am currently in chapter 3.
But more to the point, I would agree with dundee about soloing an Archer. I soloed through BG1 using a Ranger and found it 'tacticly' challenging when fighting big groups of Mages and Archers. My main chracter is currently an Archer and is finding it hard with no metal armour, but it seems possible.
Whatever you choose it should be fun - Good luck.

I personally think that F/T Multi-Class trupmps WS->Thief for breakfast.

Sorcerer if you are familiar with the Spell System. I am currently soloing a Blade and he just rocks!

I'm going to solo as a sorceror, after I complete the game again this time round.

I have a sorceror lvl 32, and I have to admit that killing Firekraag with Finger of Death is extremely funny and rather anti-climaxing :D .

If you want to solo, sorcerors are the way :D

Just go for the power and solo a Kensai ... they own all other classes :D

A Kensai wielding his mighty katana's can't be stopt ;)

Any mage with PfMW will do.

I agree on the multiclass fighter thief. Dual wielding, UaI with Tob, for those handy scrolls, and what else do you need.
