Hey, i may be a new user but i have been playing BG for about 2-3 years trying to get better and better. But ever since Bg2 i can ot undrstand what the empty bottles are for in the "strange house" at the temple district. I tryed putting them on the altar and that wasnt it. Does any one know???

It was supposed to be part of a quest that wasn't implemented in the final version of BG2. It's useless, just drop it.

Thats odd, I also acquired those empty bottles there and in Ust natha (Underdark).

Morul (mage's stronghold) can make you potions. Sometimes, he makes empty bottles.

Whos morul and were is he located, never heard of him, is it even worth my time??

Morul is one of the characters you meet during the mage stronghold. He is an aprentice in the planar sphere and makes you potions and also some items. You will only meet him if you are a mage and do the stronghold.

ok cause i own the sphere now and am a cowled wizard so hes theone i always talk to or some one diffeent i cant rember the name srry?

The cowled wizard you talk to will eventually give you apprentices which make items for you. Morul is an apprentice. After you finish the stronghold quests, he will come back and make potions for you.

you mean you need those empty vials to make potions? is that the purpose?
